Not an expert at charting but toa has dropped from a high of 25p with the lows gradually moving up to meet at around 20p. some would see the break upwards as the start of an upward trend. there is a calculation for it that would give a prospective target price. Cant remember it. If i find it ill post it here. john w

This sounds as if it is the opposite of MM's tree shaking. With 6 million shares in stock, the MM's sharp rise in price is in order to attract gullable joe public buyers. Once the MM's shift enough stock they will then walk the price back down again.

Read it in shares magazine about 6 or 7 months ago. Cant find issue with it in but have emailed shares magazine for a copy of the article. Only sellers today. At this point it might be worth mentioning that the price can take off in either direction. Just keep a close watch on them. I have traded toad for 6 months out at 17p and back in at 19.5p cant get right all the time but like always dyor. whats mm,s. jw

thanks for glossary, bit obvious really.Some more facts not fiction 3.6 mln shares were placed at 19.5p in the market in sept its logical to asume that some of them will be traded to take an early profit. Last March Toad swung into profit from loss. Direcors bought shares in own company. Any movement in the price will be anticipation of any anouncement in March. jw

it will have to break 25p to get any further progress, possible side ways trading in the 20/25p range before and if a break upwards occurs. any new news will have neg/pos affect.

prospective targets can be calculated using the golden number i.e. 1.62 , 2.62 , 4.62 . Take the length of the last price drop , x one of the numbers and add to bottom of last wave. Doing this only gives you an idea and should not be taken as gospel so beware.

Been in alot of the press at weekend supposedly set to 'smash forecasts',don't old but will buy first thing if they don't leap away!! Must be coining it in on the hands free kit supply deal with Voda.

golden number theory intresting. however i have found "how to interpret triangles 7/8/03 cover story shares.from the base of the triangle 15p the height to 25p =10 from the point of break 20p would give an implied target 20+10=30p. well see if history proves the theory. jw

looks like market makers know press coverage in advance first day for a week buy vol is more then sell vol.nice article in sats guardian if you can trust info looks more upside to come should top 30p in march when results are due naxt 2-3 weeks a rns statement should be issued re profit warning to the upside if this article is correct.when rns statement is issued giving date of results, must be issued before closed period if no details on trading is given beware.cheers woodie.
