Online broker tips?

smythgd - 10 Mar 2004 16:48

I am eager to trade the UK market after my return to Australia in the near future but can anyone suggest a way of obtaining broker tips online ( to assist my share charting/trading). My only option seems to be a subscription to Shares magazine but I really don't want a paper copy despite the offer of world-wide priority mail and they don't offer Web only subscriptions.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.

GB,
Thanks for that but I always chart shares before buying, it just helps to receive tips, then chart them and either accept/reject the tip. It's just that from Australia I wont have the advantage of reading the FT on the train from Clapham Junction into Waterloo each day like I do now!

Personally I avoid broker tips.

Although I do change my stratergy on how I find companies depending on the market etc. After trawling through a lot of possibilities and doing loads of research (which includes seperating speculation from fact) I try to pick companies whose share I consider low, and then buy. (Which I seem to be very good at). Ironically they often get tipped later, but that my signal to get out and take my profit, rather than get in!
