Shares Mag tip:

Shares Summary

Tiny but with massive growth potential
Great partnerships signed in Germany more to come
UK product coming soon
Supportive broker note from Corporate Synergy due after results
Business: Online training sofware for IT products

Vital stats:
Market value: 7 million
Historic PE for 2003: breakeven
Prospective PE for 2004: 19
Prospective PE for 2005: 7
No dividend
NMS: 15,000
Spread: 13%

thestatusquo - 11 Mar 2004 13:43 - 4 of 25

Results due at the end of this month.

Profit forecasts are for 1million in fiscal 05. Given the growth potential in the German, Austrian, Swiss and UK markets; a p/e ratio of 20-30 seems reasonable.

This would give a 2 year price target somewhere between 30-46pence. These figures may prove to be conservative.

Share has started strongly this morning, and is likely to follow through over the coming days.

thestatusquo - 16 Mar 2004 15:36 - 5 of 25

Excellent news on partnership agreement with Bayer.

Price rallying today on news that will generate significant revenues in the improving IT training climate.

Worth watching this one, still only capped at 8million, with a 2005 p/e of 8. Profit forecasts could be conservative given blue chip client base.

thestatusquo - 16 Mar 2004 19:32 - 7 of 25

Positive day. Market will re-rate this one in due course.

thestatusquo - 17 Mar 2004 14:14 - 8 of 25

Stock moving higher today again. As the market digests the revenue generating potential of the German deal, stock will be re-rated.

High revenue growth potential for this year and next. Product is tried & tested. It isn't rocket science! Every company needs Microsoft Office training, Lotus etc etc.

Chancellor Brown today announced increased emphasis on science & technology investment, in particular IT investment. All 16-18 year olds to be offered skills training.

Don't rule out the possibility of big public sector contracts in due course.

Current prospective p/e of 8, will not remain. Stock will be re-rated by the market.

beaufort1 - 17 Mar 2004 20:30 - 9 of 25

Well I am reading your posts tsq, even if no one else is. Much appreciated. Do you know when the results are coming out? Looks like IRN has some really blue chip (or should I say "blaue chippe" because they all seem to be German!) clients with thousands of staff up for training.

Where does your p/e of 8 come from - is that projected 1m profits for calendar 2005? If so isn't that just pie in the sky at this point?
Sorry - not cavilling, just interested in this as a potential re-rater.

thestatusquo - 17 Mar 2004 21:07 - 10 of 25

Thanks beaufort1

Broker Corporate Synergy are looking for profits of 350,000 for 04, rising to 1mio in 05.

Prospective p/e of 8 is for calendar 05, broker looking at prospective p/e of 19 for calendar 04.

I totally accept your assertion that these figures may be pie in the sky, but as with all these stocks, you aren't buying into exact science. It's the potential, whether you like the company story, its products/services, its markets etc etc. (If that sounds patronising, it is not intended)

I genuinely believe this is a re-rater. I'm hoping for results at month end, although will have to check that one.

thestatusquo - 18 Mar 2004 12:37 - 11 of 25

Ticking up nicely again this morning.

Down ticking now!!

Always remember; the stockmarket is a short-term voting machine, & long-term weighing machine.

Buy stocks that are going to "put on weight" over the years. Don't sell.

Well the buying has been very heavy, and the SP opened at 11.75p so someone knows what's going on - but not the poor old retail punters like us!
