A well known financial advice firm, Berry Birch & Noble Financial Services, has been put into liquidation because of the pressure of mis-selling claims over endowment and pension policies.

The firm is thought to have had 41,000 customers.

The move has sent a ripple of indignation across the financial advice industry because the parent company, Berkeley Berry Birch, continues to trade, and has transferred clients and 50 advisers to a new subsidiary, Berry Birch & Noble Financial Planning.

Nothing of any real signifance to add,just good to see ial top of the biggest winners on the lse today - even though it does'nt mean much - a glimmer of hope perhaps!
