IBC dinner
Following the success of IBC this year, Forbidden was delighted to be one of only a handful of exhibitors to be invited to the exclusive celebratory dinner hosted by the Mayor of Amsterdam.

Recent press
The Financial Times back page article "Forbidden's fruit finally starts to ripen" reflects the response Forbidden has had at IBC. NMA reports on our new FORlive product. Shares magazine points out that "You can inspect the quality of Forbidden's video on its website ... Compared to one or two years ago, the improvement is dramatic". In a separate article, they note we are at a 52 week high and say "... but any pullback in the share price should be viewed as a buying opportunity".

Forbidden Tecnology went to the IBC last year to show off its technology and video compression software, the result its share price jumped from 38 pence to over 70 pence in a couple of weeks, see chart above.

Well the price is back at 38 pence and another little exhibtion (well actually not so little, just the largest electronics exhibtion in the world is around the corner.)

They shall be attending the NAB in L.A. later this month from the 19th to the 22nd.

Will History repeat itself, Is it going to shot up again?

What is the general opinion on this board?

good for the short term at least?

check out the website - http://www.forbidden.co.uk/

as always please do your own research before investing, but I dove in this morning at 38p, as I made over 10,000 pounds last year and hoping for a repeat performance.

I have just checked out the latest clips from siteseer (a partner of forbidden) and I agree the technology seems to be a lot better than when I invested last year, I shall be looking forward to seing what happens with this company at the NAB.

check out the link below & see what you think

This is probably a more realistic chart for FBT and it is up to date!

Haystack - you really hate this stock, why????? any board started you are always the first to respond negatively, why???

At such a low price you can't see it going up again after the IBC? As FBT will actually be showing

made alot of cash last year after getting out around the top.(admitedly after speaking with you) Like yourself I would never tell anyone to buy a particular stock, the info is there for people to make up their own mind

Haystack - 23 Jul 2004 12:35 - 6 of 9

The shares rose last year in September. I am not sure if it was the IBC conference or not. If it was then it would account for the dramatic fall afterwards as nothing of any significance came out of the conference for FBT.

I don't 'hate' the company. I do think the company is vastly over valued. They have almost no turnover (40k), they are losing an increasingly large amount of money each year, their cash burn is rising and they have non standard products that make no impact in the market.

Good news... hopeful more contracts on the way.

Tiscali deal boosts Forbidden
LONDON (ShareCast) - Forbidden Technologies rallied to its best level since March last year after the video streaming and editing group announced a strategic partnership with internet group Tiscali.

The deal will see its distribution partner Simply
Stream TV launch Forbidden (LSE: FBT.L - news) 's new Clesh (Clip Load Edit Share) consumer editing package through the ISP's portal.

The group said Clesh is a scaled down consumer version of Forbidden's FORscene 'pay-as-you-go' web-based package used by broadcasters in the post production industry.

It allows consumers to experience the functionality and features of FORscene to edit and share their own video and mobile phone footage on the Internet, through a home PC.

In December, FORscene won the Royal Television Society award for technology in the post production process.

The package will be launched on the Tiscali portal this month.
