The interims in March showed 4.4M vs 2.7M T/O and 9.5M vs 3.9M Pretex profit.
The latest statement said results to be in line with expectations. Therefore apart from having a topheavy board they seem to be doing very well.
Unfortunately they are considering entering the oem automotive supply market in the UK. Since this was my previous incarnation I can tell you that this will mean 2 -4 years of slog, adding huge amounts of administrarion for the necessary TS16949 and/or VDA quality systems demanded by all motor manufacturers. And then if successful, the honour of selling your product (re-designed and tooled at your expense suitable for one car only) at around 3-4% profit. Whilst knowing that you are in competition with all other suppliers in the world (All mftrs now have global purchasing systems)Oh and I forgot, you will be contracted to give at least a 3% price reduction per year for the duration of the contract, it is expected thet you will make cost savings annually to cover this. Whilst supplying on a JIT basis (in special returnable containers which you pay for) your deliveries are uncertain beyond 3-4 weeks but you have to commit to the lead times of your own production and those of your raw material suppliers.
Basically if an automotive supplier changes from aftermarket supply to oem supply you can expect a vast cash outlay over a long period. The volume of oem sales has to be huge to compensate.
The only upside could be if Centurion already have the quality systems in place and a warehousing/logistis system able to cope with the special requirements of oem supply. I will investigate further.

Well it's me again!
Centurion have not answered any of my queries, whichtells us wht they think of shareholders.
They would not even answer the query "When are yur results released?" Althought their year ended on 30 September so it should be any minute.
Anybody else get any more info?
cheers
