Removing oil from troubled waters (NSO)

StarFrog - 29 Sep 2004 16:02

Anybody interested in Nature Technology? They had their interims out today and they werent bad. Positive news resulted in a slight increase in the share price - up 3.4% to 0.75p. Yes, they are that cheap!

I've held these boys for ages now. Waiting for an oil slick or other environmental problem to see them shoot up. Hasn't happened yet.

StarFrog - 09 May 2005 16:10 - 3 of 14

Finals came out today. Overall, things are looking good. Hopefully, sp should start to pick up. One for the medium/long term in an ethical portfolio methinks.

LONDON (AFX) - Nature Technology Solutions Ltd said its full-year pretax loss has narrowed sharply after turnover doubled.

The company attributed this to its 'emerging capability...to convert its... wastewater treatment capabilities into ongoing environmental treatment contracts, and retained ownership of businesses in that sector.'

The group's full-year pretax loss narrowed to 31,740 stg from 556,161 stg last year.

Consolidated turnover including joint ventures rose to 1.1 mln stg from 555,093 stg.

Natures said its treatment solutions activities 'have a number of interesting enquiries and discussions in hand,' but added that the opportunity for installations in a major port location may fall largely into 2006 if awarded.

Are you still holding these StarFrog? A nice bit of Director confidence shining through!:-

LONDON (AFX) - Nature Technology Solutions Ltd said its chairman Richard Eldrige has bought 1,588,446 shares in the company.

He now holds 23,500,000 shares, 5.35 pct of the company.

Not the most active stock Driver! I have held for a few months as I feel they have a future, they may never set the world alight - considering what they do, let us hope not!, but I think they could become steady earners. I hope the Director deal was to do with an announcement the company made in March:-

"The launch and trials of the offshore containerised waste water treatment
unit currently under construction, are targeted to take place in June/July this
year in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea following development work over
the last two years. This unit, utilising proprietary technology, has been
developed in response for to industry and environmental demands to move towards
"zero" discharge of polluted waters offshore and for the reduction of
transportation costs and attendant risks. Interest in this unique treatment
module, using compact Nature designed flow units and the patented Nature agent,
has been indicated throughout the Norwegian offshore, drilling and rig waste
handling industries. If successful in the Norwegian sector this technology
should have tremendous potential in the rest of the North Sea and elsewhere in
the offshore oil industry."

It is one of my more speculative shares, of which I have too many!, so I only hold 60k but from small acorns......etc!

Yes it does look interesting but with hardly any volume its going to take some shifting.

kimoldfield - 06 Jul 2006 18:40 - 8 of 14

That's true Driver, I don't think this one will fund the purchase of a Ferrari!

Blimmy this is perking up.

StarFrog - 26 Oct 2006 16:36 - 10 of 14

I notice that today as well, driver, but couldn't find any info out there as to why it is. Typically, I was thinking about topping up the other day on the back of a reasonably good set of results and good future prospects - but never got around to it.

StarFrog
Not in these but watching, good luck.

Good find, driver. The company had said as much in a previous RNS, but its always good to reach a wider audience with press coverage.
