could soon be time for lift-off,
lesotho almost up and running, 290,000carats/12m per annum......
at agm yesterday chairman said these numbers were very conservative and the
satellite pipe could throw up a number of positive surprises.......
main pipe development starting next year, 700,000carats/43m per annum......
more Finland test results to come........
this could be the diamond geezer of 2005, can't stay at this price for much longer imo......

bigbob,
is there any chance you could add a daily and yearly chart to the header please?
dibbles,
EPD are starting to look interesting, did you attend the AGM in person?

Just posting the charts.
Hope you don't mind.
Good Luck
Eddie

Thought I would add All data to help you with your judgment. Can't help but to say let the trend be your friend. The trend is clearly down. That's not to say, stocks don't recover. It may be best to wait for the stock to move above the 200 day moving average. Another good indicator is when the candles are above the 10 DMA & the 20 DMA. It looks like most of the sell off has been done. Enter with caution! Candles & moving averages should be going up! The 10 DMA is below the 20 DMA at the moment, not a right good time to enter in my opinion. Please don't take my opinion as gospel, use the information at hand.
Kind Regards
Eddie

Eddieshare,
thanks for charts and advice but remember chart to date has been for an
explorer whereas EPD will soon be a producer, also a lot of the recent trend
down was due to a fundraising at 40p a share fully funded by numis..imo...
Even shares mag recently stated that its a good time to become a producer
as the market rates producer/explorers highly at the moment...
Would you not agree that this is a news led share going on this years spikes
which charts cannot see coming and there could be a lot of newsflow in the
coming year according to agm.
Andy- didn't attend agm personally but all that did came away very upbeat.....

Some agm comments from advfn bb.......
I agree with other posters- the agm was good.
Unlike some agm's i have been to, the directors were not rushing off elsewhere
so there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions after the meeting.
Some points that particularly encouraged me:-
- Lesotho satellite pipe will produce diamonds that will be auctioned in the
current financial year.
-All estimates for the satellite pipe are conservative and there is plenty of
scope for some very pleasant surprises.
-The main pipe is likely to eventually be a lot more profitable than the
satellite pipe.
-Lesotho's satellite pipe should pay for itself in just over a year.
-The lesotho project is very comfortably profitable at the current level of
the Rand.
-Lentira is still very very promising.
-The main pipe was described as a company maker by Mr Williams, however,
Mr Spencer still believes that it's Finland where the real future of EPD lies.
Theres something huge out there and he means to find it.
Given Mr Spencers track record to date i wouldn't bet against it......

Someone on other bb mentioned today that epd are taking fund managers out to
lesotho in jan/feb to show them diamonds coming out of the ground....
Don't know if this was from agm but would make sense as they have previously
visited Finland and two well respected fund managers have recently had a nibble.

it is just asking for a re-rating northwards, bought again today and waiting for a hike in price

I hold these, and am reasoably confident they will reward us in time, although the exact timetable may be subject to some slippage I think.
A fund manager visit would be positive I would have thought, as they're hardly likely to take them out there if there's nothing to see.
I think the 40p placing really peeved the market, and until they prove themselves, EPD will idle at this price.
I feel this may not take too long!!!

A bit of life at last......
doesn't seem to be a particular reason but good volume on no news......
i wonder where it will go when the newsflow starts......
Chairman at recent agm suggested their could be plenty of news/pleasant surprises to come.....
Heres hoping he's right and a happy and prosperous new year to all holders...

take off this morning, however note the profit takers are already in there - this is what was expected but no news as yet, have the fund managers finally seen some diamonds ? This has much further to go.

Terrific rise this morning, and maybe the start of the anticipated rerating due to imminent mine stratup in Lesotho?
Profit taking to be expected, but i would rather be a buyer then seller at the moment, short term prospects look good here IMHO.
Would anyone prefer a new thread with a decent thread title appropriate to the share name, and header including chart and links to EPD website? I am happy to create if people wish.
An example can be found here;

Does anyone have a realistic target on this for the medium term?

philfolio,
On other bb's, some are of the opinion 73p, whereas other seem to think it may even make 100p.
My guess is somewhere imbetween, PROVIDED that minestart is more or less on schedule, as the anticipation may well cause the price to overshoot initially, and then retrace once the anticipation becomes fact.
I have started a new thread with more information on the header here;
