Good morning traders!

In the US last night, strong earnings reports firmed overall sentiment and extended Tuesday's rally into the close..Much like the previous day, most of the S&P constituents (18 out of 26) reporting earnings beat analysts' expectations, compared to just 4 large cap names missing forecasts. In slight contrast to Tuesday,, however, was the fact that market internals actually strengthened during the final hour of trading.

The Dow closed up 37.03 points at 10,498.59 with the Nasdaq 26.14 points higher at 2,046.09 and the S&P500 5.66 points better at 1,174.07.

In Asia this morning, trading is mixed with Hong Kong ahead and Tokyo down.
