However, sometimes the spread is designed to keep the average punter away from a stock, stick a large spread on it, damp it down and only people in the know will buy, likewise if you have crap stock to get rid off, make the spread tight and people get sucked in, and screwed in the long run on the drop.

The stock with the large spread then goes tight (upward), and........

The stock with the tight spread goes large (downward) and........

Would MM's really do such evil things...................will not answer that.

Since then no other comment or RNS.
