I thought it might be worthwhile starting a topic which identifies steady growth over a long period of time. Like many other folks I can't sit infront of my pc every day trying to time my ins and outs so that I make a profit from very short term investing. But what I can do is look for shares that have had a strong steady upward trend for over 12 months and in that time have doubled their price. There must be lots of them out there but what are they? I'll start the ball rolling by suggesting two. These are SHI which has risen steadly from 200p to 600p over the last 2 years and CIU which over the same period has risen from 20p to over 160p.
(Sorry I haven't included the graphs but I don't know how. Perhaps someone can tell me how or do it for me. They are certainly worth a look.)
