Now that we all know what the prospects for MOS are i.e. damn good, thought I'd get a new thread going and just highlight MOS' attractions for any new investors.
Key highlights:
* Significant progress made, rationalisation programme almost complete
* Acquisitions integrated well
* International marketing network established
* Record order books, enquiry levels high, several new customers won
* Recent Director buys
From the Chairman's statement:
Outlook
Over the past year the management team has extended the product range, put in
place in-house manufacturing, rationalised the existing business and greatly
expanded the marketing effort, opening up significant new markets to MOS
products. Once the acquisitions have been fully integrated MOS will offer a
wider product range to a broader market and have a much reduced cost base. We
have record order books, we have attracted major new customers and we are
targeting new markets, worldwide. Overall, we have made good progress and the
outlook remains extremely positive.
Trading Update
MOS International PLC ('MOS'), the oilfield services company, announces that
trading is in line with market expectations. TURNOVER FOR THE YEAR TO 31st MARCH 2005 IS EXPECTED TO BE CIRCA 10M COMPARED WITH 1.05M IN THE YEAR TO 31st MARCH 2004.
MOS currently has an order book in excess of 7m for delivery prior to the year
end.
The recent acquisitions have integrated well, the rationalisation programme at
MOS is almost complete and that at Ansell Jones will be completed in this
financial year.
Tender and enquiry levels remain high and the Board is positive regarding the
future. Significant progress has been made and the business is well on the road
to recovery, with turnover forecast to show a further considerable increase, in
the next financial year.
On a turnover of 10million with a profit of say 1million, this company is on a P/E ratio of just 8 (market cap being around 8million at present). This company has been overlooked by the institutions and investors alike and is due a big re-rating soon IMHO. DYOR as usual.
Chad.

This results day thing is bugging me a bit. They've just had a conversation on advfn about it and they all seem to think June is when results will be published. Their year goes from March - March. If year end was March 31st then I am sure they MUST publish those results within 3 months.
Interims Sept30th'04 - Interims published December31st'04
Full year March31st'05 - Full year results published June30th'05 ??

I was expecting them to be much earlier too but this is the reply from the e-mail I sent to MOS:
Results for the year to March are normally published August/September.

Oh well, just a bit longer to wait then. Although it might be the case that last year was different and that since the change in brokers and restructuring, the results might be published when they are supposed to be. When someone on advfn phoned today he was told a couple of months. I expect all will become clear.

Last year full year results March'03 - March'04 were published in September04 but then the half year results March'04 - Sept'04 were published in Dec'04.
Maybe because of all the changes with restructuring the full year results Mch'03 - Mch'04 took a long time to sort out. But when it came to H1 results Mch'04 - Sept'04 they had it all sorted and published at correst time (within 3 months) Dec'04
It does explain all the buying on T10s and T20s at the end of March as people must have looked at when last years full year results were published and not noticed that last years HI March - September results were published in
December. So peeple thought that some results would be published this March. That's what all the selling has been about over the past few days T traders closing their positions. Does all that make sense? Fingers x for results to be published in June.

is pleased to announce that it has placed 125,200,000 new ordinary shares of
0.025p at 0.62p per share raising funds of 776,240 before expenses. The funds

Philip Wood, Chairman, MOS International PLC commented:
'We have concluded the rationalisation programme and integrated the acquisitions
made in 2004 and it is now important that we put in place the necessary finance
to fund our growth. We anticipate that turnover for the current financial will
exceed 15m, compared to less than 1.5m in the year to March 2004 and without
increasing our working capital it would be impossible to achieve this.
'Having completed a difficult 2004/5 we are now in a position to move forward
and to build upon the work the new management team has done to date.'
sounds confidant, doesn't he......

Will the sp drift now to 0.62p before April 28th?
If you think so there are two choices, sell what you have now and buy back in a few weeks OR hold as spread is wide and then buy more in a few weeks.
Opinions anyone?

Im holding. The value of the placing isnt all that big. Like you said andy, anyone selling and buying back later is gunna get hit by the spread.
PS. 15MILLION TURNOVER now. This is getting better all the time.

Lots of decent buys through today. Looks like the market hasnt reacted negatively to the placing.

This is good news. They obviously need to improve cashflow to cope with increase in orders, especially bigger orders. The fact that there will be a 50% increase in expected turnover shows that this company is growing all the time. As someone else said "a plant can't grow without water".
Wonder what the profits on 15m turnover will be and what that will mean for the share price. Not forgetting that the restructuring will have cost a lot of money.
Next year will be even better with reduced costs and I think the shareprice will leap when results are published and investors see the potential of Mos International.

Yes. Definately a lot of heavy buying coming through now. Thought the price would have responded by now too.

Cant believe they havent ticked this one up. What are the MM's playing at?
chad

320,000 or shares traded= about 4% of share capital. This should surely have caused the share price to respond. MM's may be keeping it down for the 28th.
