The Directors of Aston Villa plc have noted the week-end press comment and the
consequent rise in the share price of the Company. The Board wish to make it
clear that the press comment is inaccurate and unfounded. However, the Board has
received a preliminary approach which could lead to an offer for the Company.
Shareholders will be updated of any further developments.

Hiya Dave,
This lot seem to have had more takeover rumours then games won In the last few years!
Ranson,South Americans,Russians and the rest. Still good for prices though.
No Idea about Baros I'm afraid as I don't watch them.
