In Asia today, the Hang Seng Index ended the morning down 49.06 points at of 15,371.26, while the Nikkei closed the day down 252.04 points at 15,932.83, its session low.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for delivery in March, was down 16 cents at $59.41 a barrel from its close of $59.57 in the US overnight.

BHP Billiton said it made a record $4.364bn net profit for the six months to December....

I see you stuck it out with ETL Druid2 - I gave up a long time ago.

Quiet day yesterday - still long PSN & BT.A

lw - I have to hold on to them to get my 2 trips for 1 each every year. Although I have held them from 350p to date the 1 trips, twice a year, over the last 15 years or so have made up for the lost capital. Should have bought a pile of them, in the dip, at 15p and doubled my money but hindsight is a great thing.

Morning all, CTT is on a roll this morning, no news apparent. Any of you any ideas as to the reason for the sudden lift?

Looks like it could be all down to this:

FTSE100 is doing well over the last hour - I wonder if it will continue or turn?

PTL and EME seem to be the hot stocks at the mo.

talk EME could be worth well over 10 if just one of its projects comes off and the Cali drill is looking the one.Its only capped at around 27 mill so 1 hit and its up with the 10 bagger club.Worth a def punt i reck.

Not touching it at the moment to be honest, short worked but not confident on following up. Shorted LMI...hopefully not too soon!
