Good morning traders!

In the US, the Dow closed up 75.32 at 11,151.34 with the Nasdaq ahead 28.87 at 2,295.90 and the S&P500 13.35 higher at 1,297.48.

In Asia today, the Nikkei closed up 80.68 points at 16,319.04, while the Hang Seng hit the midpoint up 186.12 points at 15,705.88.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for delivery in April, was down 38 cents at $62.72 a barrel from its close of $63.10 in the US yesterday.

LONDON (AFX) - Ultrasis PLC said it is proposing to buy Healthstar Group
PLC, in a share exchange deal that values Healthstar at 2.9 mln stg.
Ultrasis is proposing to issue 28.3 new Ultrasis shares for each Healthstar
share. The recommended offer, values each Healthstar share at 65.1 pence per
share.
A total of 140.651 mln new Ultrasis shares, representing 9.6 pct of the
enlarged share capital of Ultrasis, will be issued under the offer, the company
said in a statement.
Ultrasis chairman Gerald Malone asid: "By acquiring Healthstar, Ultrasis
will have acquired a business which complements our products, protects our
market position, extends market reach and provides opportunities to add value to
our existing products and intellectual property."
