Iain,

You get your username and password when you sign up as a paying subscriber. You can then use this to get data downloads and updates whcih you cannot get on the intial 30 day trial, which has a non updating set of data.

Thats the catch ;-)

IanT(MoneyAM) - 27 Mar 2006 14:09 - 5 of 124

After 30 days of the trial you woun't be able to resist signing up Iain :)

Iain - 27 Mar 2006 14:11 - 6 of 124

It does look a lot better than S/S.

Robb - 27 Mar 2006 15:08 - 7 of 124

Initial impression is very good. Tons of stuff to look through.

First question.

What is this :-

Add Overlay - Bands Indicators - MIKE(12)

I can't find it in the HELP or in the website help.

Thanks

MightyMicro - 27 Mar 2006 15:29 - 8 of 124

I have to say that this is a nice piece of software -- that I had nothing to do with!

PS: Just one thing, the DMR chart must be wrong, too much red, it's not as SueHelen said ;-)

Robb,

I am not too sure, but will find out and let you know,

Ian

Robb - 27 Mar 2006 15:45 - 10 of 124

Thanks Ian.

markymar - 27 Mar 2006 16:20 - 11 of 124

Ian,

When you want to up date the graph it asks you to sign in do you just use your normal password or do you send one out?

As a Premier subscriber, I can't see any way of upgrading to this service, which I think I should be able to do for an extra fiver a month. Is that right, and if so, how do I upgrade?

James(MoneyAM) - 27 Mar 2006 17:17 - 13 of 124

Simply Chart is a seperate product from MoneyAM.

markymar - To update the data, you will need to take out a Simply Chart subscription.

Piptrader - It is not possible to upgrade from a MoneyAM subscription to a Simply Chart subscription.

For more information, please go to www.simplychart.com

Thanks, James.

Piptrader - 27 Mar 2006 18:00 - 14 of 124

Thanks James. So I cancel by existing MoneyAM sub, and sign up with Simply Chart. But the Simply Chart sign-up info says "During your sign up process you will be asked to choose a username." and then "To access MoneyAM simply use the same username..."

When you sign up with Simply Chart is your username checked against MoneyAM's database, and no duplicates allowed? If not, chaos is going to reign, especially when I sign in as Ruth:-) But if duplicates are not allowed, does that mean I lose my existing username, or is there provision to keep it as an existing MoneyAM subscriber?

markymar - 27 Mar 2006 19:01 - 15 of 124

James many thanks.

Would of been good to be able to try it first before you have to pay a subcription, other than that its no good to me if the data is out date to try it.

Maggot - 27 Mar 2006 19:41 - 16 of 124

Sorry to be so stupid. But could someone explain, simply, how this differs from the current chart package? I pay Level 2 and Monthly Terminal subscription.

supermum - 27 Mar 2006 20:04 - 17 of 124

its a charting package... not just a peek at charts which is currently available with any current subscription
you can do the whole 9 yards on it.. I love it..
I'll be posting all my static charts from it from now on
;-)

Looks like a good bit of kit to me!

MightyMicro - 27 Mar 2006 20:54 - 19 of 124

Maggot:

It's more a competitor to something like ShareScope EOD, I think. You should probably judge it on that basis. Personally, I like it.

Haystack - 27 Mar 2006 21:38 - 20 of 124

I have tried the demo and it is very good. I use Sharescope and it is similar, but this is easier to use I think.

supermum - 27 Mar 2006 22:14 - 21 of 124

its different... with a good few more toys for the chart ...

Andy - 27 Mar 2006 22:27 - 22 of 124

Does it have the data minig like sharescope please?

I am unable to subscribe due to only having access on work pc's this week, so am unable to have a look.

My criticism of Sharesope is that you have to download the data every day, presumably this doesn't involve that?
