A right cracker you'v dug up here (excuse the pun) , didn't have any funds available so not in wilbs.

m0dulus - 22 Jun 2005 09:26 - 31 of 138

Whats the target for this one? short and long

wilbs - 22 Jun 2005 09:34 - 32 of 138

Cheers jimmy. ELP is also one to watch IMO. When we get more updates on the Marquis prospect in block 21/6b in the North Sea then they will both hopefully be heading north. They may also work together on other projects in the North Sea.

As for a target? Its hard to put one on at the moment until we get some more news and better estimates of how much oil there is and the cost of getting it to the surface, also depends on the news of the Galoc block which I think is what may be pushing the sp up. I personally can see it hitting 200p in the short term but thats IMHO.

wilbs - 22 Jun 2005 11:05 - 37 of 138

I think we could quite easily see 150p by friday at this rate but we nrrd some sort of news or media coverage to back the sp.IMHO.

Thanks for that gavdfc, have you dipped your toe in?

gavdfc - 22 Jun 2005 15:08 - 40 of 138

Hi Wilbs, No, not got any position here. Not too keen on news issues myself, especially after seeing what happend to a few last year. You seem to have done well and I assume that you were in right at the start. However, saying that, IEC did well for a while after it came to market last year. Have put this on the monitor to see how it goes. Well done on this one.

This is with reference to a conference being held July 1st:

Developing and optimising assets - A new startup companys experience

Granby Oil & Gas Ltd was recently formed from the merger of Granby Enterprises Ltd with Team Oil Ltd. The company was successfully awarded a number of promote licences in the UKCS 21st & 22nd licensing rounds, and is currently looking at a number of international opportunities. The company believes that the DTIs Promote initiative has been a key catalyst in stimulating renewed interest in UKCS exploration opportunities, and that such licences have given small companies an opportunity to grow by adding real asset value to their business at low capital costs early in their life cycles. This presentation will look at ways in which assets such as these can be managed to maximise the value they bring to a business, whilst minimising risk exposure. Issues of materiality and the importance of a balanced portfolio will also be addressed.

Richard Moreton
Executive Director
Granby Oil & Gas Ltd
