THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

They should be holding the same debate south of the border.

skinny - 27 Sep 2013 14:41 - 30101 of 81564

I remember drinking it in Matlock some years ago - the hand pump logo was a conversation piece!

Chris Carson - 27 Sep 2013 14:43 - 30102 of 81564

Don't see why.

MaxK - 27 Sep 2013 14:44 - 30103 of 81564

See if the hated English want to hold to Scotland.

Fred1new - 27 Sep 2013 14:45 - 30104 of 81564

I didn't know Alistair Darling was the new UK prime minister.

Has Cameron been arrested for something or other.

What a creep ducking his responsibilities.

Mind I would feel safer if he did.

Fred1new - 27 Sep 2013 14:46 - 30105 of 81564

Skinny,

That must be a new name for it.

Haystack - 27 Sep 2013 14:47 - 30106 of 81564

There is also only one Conservative MP in Scotland.

Chris Carson - 27 Sep 2013 14:52 - 30107 of 81564

If you had half a brain Fred you would realise that asking a Englishman to debate Scotlands future, red cloak and bull springs to mind. Good ploy by that gobshite Salmond though. Salmond has raised the question, it is only right that the people of Scotland decide their future. Cameron is right not to interfere, would be suicide. Are you buying Royal Mail shares? Hypocrite!

Fred1new - 27 Sep 2013 14:54 - 30108 of 81564

Lucky Scotland.

Chris Carson - 27 Sep 2013 14:57 - 30109 of 81564

No sensible Cameron.

doodlebug4 - 27 Sep 2013 15:03 - 30110 of 81564

As a Scot now living in England I have to agree that Cameron should just let the Scots argue and decide. He's got nothing to gain from getting into a public debate with Salmond. Personally I think it is utter madness for the Scots to vote for independence.

Chris Carson - 27 Sep 2013 15:06 - 30111 of 81564

Ditto db as an Englishman living in Aberdeen :O)

Fred1new - 27 Sep 2013 15:08 - 30113 of 81564

Db,

Other than looking foolish.

No difference.

Fred1new - 27 Sep 2013 15:08 - 30114 of 81564

.

skinny - 27 Sep 2013 15:09 - 30115 of 81564

Pardon.

doodlebug4 - 27 Sep 2013 15:11 - 30116 of 81564

You can say that again.

Fred1new - 27 Sep 2013 15:13 - 30117 of 81564

To much OB's.

Haystack - 27 Sep 2013 15:14 - 30118 of 81564

Not much point in Royal Mail strikes now as it is legally in private hands today. Institutions have bought 41% today and 10% is given to RM staff.

Fred1new - 27 Sep 2013 15:25 - 30119 of 81564

I don't think I would touch it.
