MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

Like this:-
We have also commissioned a remuneration consultant to review salary, bonus and long term incentive plans to ensure that the interests of management and shareholders are aligned with rewards linked to long term performance.
Dont like this:-
Due to several value enhancing acquisitions occurring over the previous 12 to 18 months, the Company has a requirement for working capital to expand and grow the business. The offer period for much of 2008 has considerably hindered the Company's ability to raise funds for such working capital. However, the Company is currently in detailed discussions with multiple providers of capital, and hope to be in a position to update the market in the very near future in relation to the outcome of these discussions.

kimoldfield - 30 Sep 2008 07:48 - 3025 of 8631

It's going to be a case of 'watch this space' for a while Tabby; not the best of times to require extra funding but overall not too bad. The potential is still there but there may well be a loss of momentum for a while.

ptholden - 30 Sep 2008 07:50 - 3026 of 8631

Actual profit 1.69M, a very poor return on turnover of 23.7M

From an EPS perspective hardly any improvement on 2007FY

Cash in the bank 509k - no wonder they need to raise capital, they're nearly broke, hope their customers pay the bills on time - cash flow is everything, especially in this financial climate.

Chances of getting a placing away at the moment? Only at a big discount to today's SP. More dilution on the way. Wouldn't be surprised to see 200M shares issued at 10p to raise 20M.

SP target 10p

tabasco - 30 Sep 2008 08:00 - 3027 of 8631

Kim.. I am happy!
Clear and concise RNS.our cash is safe! We do not need to raise capitol in order to fund any losses!to expand and grow the business could raise good money by selling a tech off if necessarythe Company is currently in detailed discussions with multiple providers of capital, and hope to be in a position to update the market in the very near future in relation to the outcome of these discussions. Hopefully strong Finns Brokers note today.

Bullshare - 30 Sep 2008 08:14 - 3028 of 8631

Tabasco. Better results than expected but those words 'the Company is currently in detailed discussions with multiple providers of capital, and hope to be in a position to update the market in the very near future in relation to the outcome of these discussions' are similar words to those used by Northern rock, lehman etc . Dont hold you breath

hilary - 30 Sep 2008 08:32 - 3029 of 8631

Didn't you stand up on a stage and ramp this cr@p once, Doris?

:o)

ptholden - 30 Sep 2008 08:37 - 3030 of 8631

Can someone be kind enough to dig out that recent broker note? Seemed to me at the time they were stating a much higher EPS, equivalent to 8M annual profit. Guess they were telling porkies huh?

Bullshare - 30 Sep 2008 08:43 - 3031 of 8631

Indeed i did and did Okish out of it some years back!

tabasco - 30 Sep 2008 08:46 - 3032 of 8631

Whos Doris.. Shes not als bit on the side is she? Hilary.you do know some strange people!

hilary - 30 Sep 2008 08:54 - 3033 of 8631

I know you did OK, Doris, and I can still remember your exact words to this day. Sheer brilliance imo!!

Dil - 30 Sep 2008 09:22 - 3034 of 8631

Best laff is they are trying to highlight profit "before non recurring items" ..... which seem to occur every year without fail.

Margins dropping and no cash , 10p placing on the cards and it all adds up to a complete basket case.

I'd take 20p while its still available.
