I hate to be a harbinger of doom and gloom, Jeroo, but I've just had a peek at it and you're actually second. Da Bear is in the lead. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm hoping that GoldDog is going to re-appear soon and take over the running of things. In his absence though, I'm happy to carry on the game for the moment and, if everyone still wants to play, continue to post your trades up for next week by the noon Sunday deadline as normal.

I'm reliant at the moment on the generosity of Jeff for converting the files to html, so I'll probably only update the tables every couple of days. The spreadsheet is in Lotus 123 format, so if anybody knows of a simple convertor to html I'd be grateful.

I've managed to make it a bit smaller and I've included the positions today so we're not all in 13th place. Apologies to those people whose totals have been lost in the conversion. Also there was a bit of confusion yesterday as I'd entered the wrong value for Da Bear's trade and incorrectly thought that he was in the lead. He wasn't ........... Jeroo is, so well done Jeroo!!

GD did disappear for a long weekend not so long ago. I had just returned from being away, as asked after him, hoping he was well etc. He did admit that he likes to go to ground from time to time. It hasn't bitten the dust and I'm happy to continue updating it in GD's continued absense. However, nobody placed any fresh trades at the weekend, so there's little point, imo, in updating it daily. I'll update it next Friday pm if that's ok with everyone. I'm reliant upon Jeff converting the file, so I don't want to take liberties.

Obviously if nobody places any trades, I'll just let it die a death.

Anyway, you're still in the lead with 60,721.01 as at close last night followed by Gdub on 54,613.48. Well done. When I get time, I'll maybe create a worksheet that shows a summary and I can then just cut and paste it onto the thread without worrying Jeff.

I was actually referring to the fact that there were no trades made at all this weekend although I'm happy with my present selections for now. I don't mind posting here on the weekend to that effect so that it's apparent that I am playing the game. Perhaps others may care to do same? You are doing a sterling job keeping the whole thing updated in Golddogs absence - Well done.
