Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Don't be silly. I have no ability to evade tax as most people don't. How could I evade tax? If you could tell me I might be tempted.

Latest poll in after Osbourne and Camerons policy pledges, well pledges that havent been costed...........
electionista@electionista7h
UK - YouGov/Sun poll: CON 33%, LAB 39%, LDEM 11%, UKIP 13%
Labour with still a 6% lead and 39% of poll enough to give them an overal majority.
Certainly bank benches will have had alarm bels ringing with this especially as conference is ongoing.

I am not averse to tax avoidance or even tax evasion, but unfortunately I can't think of a way of doing it. Could you give me some advice. I should point out that I am retired and get tax deducted at source, but if you can come up with a good scheme then who knows. Have you seen The Producers? Not the remake, but the one with Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder.

The yougov poll figures have fallen sharply from 11 points to 6 in two days. Looks good for a Conservative lead soon.

Have you ever paid cash for anything with no bill? .....................ends
That is admittance of tax evasion on a very small scale but nevertheless.........tax evasion. Your admitting not paying VAT and at the same time your aiding and abeting a business avoid both VAT and Income tax.
Tax evasion is not just about big business.

No, that was a question about your behaviour. Perhaps you need some remedial lessons in the English language with special reference to comprehension.

Good to see honest people like George and myself about.
These tax evaders are far worse than any benefit cheat.

Yep shortie them 2 young birds who reckon they were organised by a drug gang in Ibiza said that, now they face 3 years in a ghastly jail after pleading guilty. It could have been far worse.
Obey the Laws of the land and tell the truth.
The Hays of this world wriggle through the system most of the time but those who get caught.......................

hays - you're quite right about companies not paying tax .... "we" may not like it, but HMRC (and IRS and all others) are hardly moral themselves; they say, you owe £x tax so pay it or else .,.... so if a company(or even an individual) shows that it is playing within the rules and there is thus no tax to pay, end of story

You keep schtum and hope you dont get caught.
