THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Excuse me from butting into this political thread, but I've just read this in the Independent and thought it worth passing on for the benefit of any hay fever sufferers.

What Doctors definitely wont tell you;

Holistic hay fever prevention

Hay fever is a common allergy, suffered by countless people every summer. So-called experts would treat it with antihistamines and other poisons, but this narrow-minded view ignores the interconnected way the natural world works. Hay fever is caused by pollen, which is how plants reproduce. Pollen is entirely natural, and nothing natural is harmful, so hay fever is caused by an imbalance. In order to address this imbalance, simply masturbate regularly into a flowerbed or other convenient foliage.

Interesting that Mikiband's dad was a Marxist. Marx came from a very privileged family and spent a large part of his life getting drunk in London pubs. Why do a handful of loonies follow him. He was just another champagne socialist.

goldfinger - 02 Oct 2013 15:54 - 30369 of 81564

Hays tell me, do you have any freinds other than cynic on here in the make believe world?.

Is your world and life very shallow.

Cameron is a liar.

He will do anything to get a clap.

Maggie was the greatest PEACE TIME PRIME MINISTER.

GET your history correct.

Clap, and I don't mean hand clap.

What about the Falkland Isle war?

How many British and Argentinian lives did she cost to pay for her vanity.

British

255 killed
775 wounded
115 taken prisoner

Argentinian
649 killed
1,657 wounded[4]
11,313 taken prisoner

(How much is it costing the UK now.)

========

No wonder the public don't trust him.

goldfinger - 02 Oct 2013 16:25 - 30373 of 81564

Does Cameron not realise that young people want jobs responsibility and be able to take home a wage at the end of each week or month. The fact that Osbourne and his austerity measures has led them to a life on the dole is all their fault according to him.

Just look at this ignorant pathetic nonsence hes spouted today at the Tory conference............................

'Bold action'

In his speech, Mr Cameron argued that action was needed in the UK, saying: "There are still over a million young people not in education, employment, or training.

"Today it is still possible to leave school, sign on, find a flat, start claiming housing benefit and opt for a life on benefits. It's time for bold action here."

He promised the Conservatives would consider, as they write their manifesto for the 2015 general election, whether "that option should really exist at all"...............ends

I know this in my day their would have been riots like the ones that had Thatcher doing a massive U turn on the Poll Tax.

I wouldnt rule out a general strike next year as working class people are now being pushed too far by this miserable miserable out of touch government, and this time Camoron had better get back from the beach a lot quicker than he did when the youths burnt down London in the summer of 2011.

Haystack - 02 Oct 2013 16:26 - 30374 of 81564

The public were and are behind the Falklands war and why not.

Haystack - 02 Oct 2013 16:28 - 30375 of 81564

There will be no general strike. The bulk of the public accept that austerity is needed.

goldfinger - 02 Oct 2013 16:36 - 30376 of 81564

Its figures like this that warm the heart up in the face of the clap trap we have heard today.

I just hope labour when they win the next election give the better off the top 10% of the nation (that the Tories only care) for as much grief as they must be giving young kids today and the poor families and worse off.

I shall be certainly asking for that as a part of the labour manifesto. I will be asking for a transfer from Income Taxes to Asset taxes and aim to bleed the very rich dry. Give them a taste of their own medcine see if they like it.

Fred1new - 02 Oct 2013 16:37 - 30377 of 81564

Cameron LIED!

I still think the majority believe in god.

Also, the majority would be behind bringing back hanging.

Ask the tory party unfaithful.

-------

Bye the way, do you think the Con. Party conference with Cameron and George in control showed it to be:

The party for Victory?

The party of Unity and Strength?

The party of Freedom?

The party of Honour?

The party of Work?

The party of Greater Britain?

The party of Peace?

goldfinger - 02 Oct 2013 16:43 - 30378 of 81564

So out of touch and such an ignorant person.... teachers strikes yesterday, 50,000 march on sunday re- NHS in Manchester, talks by union leaders this last weekend for drawing a general strike up ...........................

Haystack- 02 Oct 2013 16:28 - 30377 of 30378

There will be no general strike. The bulk of the public accept that austerity is needed................

But its his assets the Labour government will be looking to re-distribute and he FEARS IT , THATS THE TRUTH AND HE KNOWS IT.

Haystack - 02 Oct 2013 16:43 - 30379 of 81564

About 37% in the UK believe in god. I am sure a majority want hanging. All polls indicate that.

Haystack - 02 Oct 2013 16:45 - 30380 of 81564

Teachers going on one day strikes are pathetic.

goldfinger - 02 Oct 2013 16:46 - 30381 of 81564

So why did they go on strike then come on give it a shot........

Fred1new - 02 Oct 2013 16:51 - 30382 of 81564

Hays.

In case you missed it

Shortie - 02 Oct 2013 17:05 - 30384 of 81564

"The party of Bullshit and Lies", thats who I usually vote for..!!

Fred1new - 02 Oct 2013 17:08 - 30385 of 81564

Shortie.

We are all allowed to make mistakes.

But one should learn by them and avoid repeating.
--------

But who would vote for a u-bend party?

8-()

goldfinger - 02 Oct 2013 17:10 - 30386 of 81564

Well Im sorry about that Shortie but youve got about 15 months to do something about it, I suggest you get rid of the top 2 men and get someone who is closer to the real working class and then we might not have all these right wing clap trap policys threatening the younger and poorer people of this country.

You will be voted out if you dont.
