Fred1new - 31 Oct 2004 17:08

Any punters living in Birmingham Area interested in a Pie, Pint and jaw, one evening in a pub in Birmingham area.
Personally interested in small time investing(gambling), developing an appetite for CFDs. Also developing an interest in Charting or TA.

I use Sharescope, Moneyam, Barclays, Comdirect and IC

Stan, thanks for your reply. I think I'll have to pass on that particular date - it coincides with my grandmothers 92nd birthday. So looks like it'll be the next Brum meeting after that, that I'll make ... !!

Stan - 09 Oct 2006 09:33 - 306 of 1427

Thats fine SK, look forward to meeting you next time and enjoy your celebrations.

Fred1new - 09 Oct 2006 11:54 - 307 of 1427

Supakat and Stan, It is my grandson birthday on the 16th and I am expected to be in attendance in London. Look forward to meet perhaps a week - 10 days later. I will try and find a more salubrious and warmer pub, perhaps near the Cathedral.

Stan - 16 Oct 2006 06:17 - 308 of 1427

Tonight's meeting Is cancelled due to people being unavailable.

Please look for details of the next one here.

Fred1new - 21 Oct 2006 10:59 - 309 of 1427

Stan,
Home again. 2hours to get to London and 2 hours to get from motor way to Crystal Palace. Why do people live in London?

Anyway Datacard works reasonably well and we can test it out in Birmingham.

When do you think the next meet should be?

Perhaps try the Cathedral Square again?

Stan - 22 Oct 2006 15:40 - 310 of 1427

I'm at the library now Fred I will ring you tonight.

Fred1new - 06 Mar 2007 14:22 - 311 of 1427

Is it time to try to resurrect the Pie and Pint?

For many, this week has been to say the least disturbing, share prices mainly dropping a few standing still and even fewer ascending the price race.

How did you fare?

Some of us relied on Stop losses. Some just sold when they could and hoped to buy back at a lower price. Some crossed their legs and went to the pub.

Stan and myself are hoping to meet up this Saturday morning (March 10th 2007) at about at 11am, at:-

The Old Joint Stock (Pub)
(Temple Row opposite the Birmingham Cathedrals entrance.)

Any views or topics, even hot tips open for discussion.
