Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Fred1new - 19 Jun 2016 10:28 - 3042 of 12628

1) With a Right winged press controlling the propaganda and money from the Cayman Isles, Panama etc. pulling the strings of the tory government

2a) Which president and of what EU institutions?
2b) Name the cabinet ministers of the present government?
2c) How many Scottish, Irish or Welsh MP's names do you know?

3a) are you sure that immigration control will be swapped for deals and contracts with the EU?

3b) with proposed introduction of bursars for training nurse etc, that there will be sufficient nurses for the NHS and Welfare Services, or that the NHS will continue to exist in a recognisable state.

3c) who is going to wash your car?

=-=-=-=

Vote for Cloud Cuckoo Land, you know it doesn't make sense.

Jeremy Corbyn says EU free movement means no immigration limit

There can be no upper limit on the number of people coming into the UK while there is free movement of labour in the EU, Jeremy Corbyn has said.

Claret Dragon - 20 Jun 2016 08:54 - 3045 of 12628

New rigged poll to keep UK in a straight jacket within a padded cell. I hope not.

VICTIM - 20 Jun 2016 11:04 - 3046 of 12628

I'm looking on another BB to see a list of British companies that are receiving EU grants to move their production out of Britain into other EU countries . It's quite sickening , and those that think the EU is the way for Britain want their head examining . Too much deceit going on here .

VICTIM - 20 Jun 2016 11:05 - 3047 of 12628

Were you born like this Freda , you mess everything up don't you .

Fred1new - 20 Jun 2016 11:33 - 3048 of 12628

Vicky,

Everybody is good at something.

VICTIM - 20 Jun 2016 11:36 - 3049 of 12628

What even Dave .

Fred1new - 20 Jun 2016 11:45 - 3050 of 12628

He can wave better than anybody!

VICTIM - 20 Jun 2016 11:52 - 3051 of 12628

I wish he would wave Goodbye .

Fred1new - 20 Jun 2016 12:30 - 3052 of 12628

I wonder if he is drowning?

I will come back in an hour and see.

Haystack - 20 Jun 2016 12:35 - 3053 of 12628

Remain seem to be inching ahead in poll after poll. I want to leave the EU, but there is one advantage in staying in. That is the demise of UKIP will come sooner.

2517GEORGE - 20 Jun 2016 12:43 - 3054 of 12628

Vicky post 3046, many uk co's have also been taken over by foreign co's and are/have received funding from the EU to move their production elsewhere. It makes you wonder how on earth this is allowed to happen:-

The British Army's new Ajax fighting vehicles to be built in Spain using Swedish steel at the request of the EU to support jobs in Spain with EU grant, rather than Wales.
-------makes a mockery of our MP's so called fight to keep our steel industry going.

grannyboy - 20 Jun 2016 14:47 - 3055 of 12628

I don't think we'll be seeing the demise of UKIP anytime soon, though
there are some who don't like straight talking and would rather have the
slimey snake oil salesmen speak, of the likes of the camerons of this world
who would sell their own souls and that of their son's and daughters..

NEVER trust those who promise and fail to deliver, or deceive in the face
of the truth....

MaxK - 20 Jun 2016 14:56 - 3056 of 12628

Beware the bashful leaver on Thursday..

Haystack - 20 Jun 2016 15:11 - 3057 of 12628

The one thing that rang true last night when Cameron was asked questions was his comment that people should not vote leave base on three Leave lies.

That Turkey is about to join the EU.
That we would join an EU army
and
That we give £350m a week to Brussels.

I want to leave but for none of the above nonsense reasons.

VICTIM - 20 Jun 2016 15:19 - 3058 of 12628

The only thing we will have in this country are Supermarkets .

MaxK - 20 Jun 2016 15:20 - 3059 of 12628

The plan is without doubt for Turkey to join.

Why else would ford transfer it's transit production there? (with the help of €U money)

Plus see #3054 above by George..whats that all about? Exporting British jobs with €U subs??

VICTIM - 20 Jun 2016 15:22 - 3060 of 12628

So GEORGE the EU wants to flood Britain with labour , but then it's helping companies to relocate out to other EU countries , it's criminal .

Haystack - 20 Jun 2016 15:27 - 3061 of 12628

Turkey could not join. Any one country can veto it. There is a long list of countries who will veto Turkey, chief among them is Denmark. Denmark had a referendum recently and voted against Turkey joining.

It is all about politics and detente. The idea is to dangle the carrot of joining the EU in the hope that it will improve their human rights record and general behaviour. In reality there is no chance.
