,Amities mes amies / Slt ,Following the plethora of substantial sized "distress" panic sells FIRST thing this morning induced by those anononomous entities with bearish or shorting inclinations and which reduced bid price to 18.5 ( -2p ), the buyers have waded back in; and we are back to 19.75/ 20.50 spread wich was price at inception . ...Some reasonable sized buys helping to consolidate an s/p in excess of 20p . .......lncidentally Bos both my g/f and i thought that Rainbow link was bloody funny lol,,,,,,,,,,,rather addictive for me ,,hehe ya know --small minds and all that ...@+ J

More bad news - US Futures -

Another sell-off looms
Futures point to a rough start on Wall Street

If that happens then the bloodbath selling tomorrow will be worse than today across the board again - starting later this afternoon once the US opens if its a downer again.

Fred1new - 18 Apr 2005 12:48 - 3055 of 27111

Insider, why don't you start your tablets again. There seems to be an obsessional side to your personallity which is getting out of control. Sorry Doug, just observing!!

Don't tell me you have shorted on SEO and gone long on the FT.

driver - 18 Apr 2005 13:09 - 3056 of 27111

Fred1new
I have just looked back over the W/End post's and I can't see your name giving an (AYE) for squelching the said mentioned, perhaps that is why you are trying to converse with our beloved basher. Remember, BASHERS NEVER Bash A BAD STOCK.

andysmith - 18 Apr 2005 13:31 - 3057 of 27111

Well we have a resilient share for one supposed to crash to 13p don't we.
Market taking a hell of a bashing, SEO marked down and plenty of buyers to mop up the sells at low prices. I have squelched insiderx2, not because I don't agree with opposite posts to my own views but because I thought my PC was echoing in here, in here, in here, in here. I've read what he has to say and don't need to read the same thing every day now, when x2 has something new and sensible to post I may unsquelch, no harm in reading sensible opposite views even if you don't agree. The one point he makes that is totally correct, if this goes wrong and doesn't get commercialised, SEO sp will fall, its just that we don't believe that this is going to happen and therein lies your choice with SEO.
If you believe in the RF technology, that Asda will progress with the deals, that RF Tray-lidding will be rolled out in the USA, that other opportunities will develop on the back of this, that Ingel has a future with cc appeal, that Frogpack will become another profit earner and that bio-degradable and water based packaging can all transform SEO into a major force within packaging then BUY the shares for the future.
If you have doubts about the technology and the future of SEO, wait and see before buying or if you hold and are nervous you can sell if you really want to.
My own view is BUY but then I am not your financial advisor.

from today's times..

"edgy investors are braced for a turbulent week after friday's plunge in share prices on both sides of the atlantic."

looks like its gonna be a red week!! only got one blue on my watch list. had two briefly ......but it didn't last........:(

Chiva20 - 18 Apr 2005 16:02 - 3064 of 27111

Gonna be nasty. Rally on Thursday (I hope).

overgrowth - 18 Apr 2005 16:10 - 3065 of 27111

I disagree with it going to be another red week guys - the Dow is showing very strong support at around the 10040 level and has turned back up sharply.

Oil prices are coming down rapidly with the new OPEC agreement and there were several majors today coming in above consensus in the US. So, the US can no longer go whinging on about sky high oil prices and lower than expected earnings everywhere - the only thing they can be "concerned" about is a gradual economic slowdown.

Whenever I've read investment reports from the US there seems to be always a gradual economic slowdown or one just around the corner lol.

It seems as though the Dow is on the verge of moving back into positive territory again - though there will be a few swings along the way.

Any large moves up in the US later today will be lost on the FTSE (which has already been severely marked down without good reason IMHO). So I'm reasonably confident in seeing a bounce tomorrow with quite a few shares being marked up to make up for overdoing the mark downs today.
