ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

i've got great time now anyway, so that makes me lol to put some fun..
cynic , got your answer here - mankind have a great aversion to intellectual labor; but even supposing knowledge to be easly attainable, more people would be content to be ignorant than would take even a little trouble to acquire it.
robinhood- your answer could be here- in mathematics you don't understand things.you just get used to them.

ASOS climbs as Goldman ups price target
Shares in British online fashion retailer ASOS (ASOS.L) rise 4.3 percent, outperforming a 0.2-percent rise on the FTSE 100 .FTSE after Goldman Sachs raises its price target for the firm to 1,700 pence from 1,350 pence to reflect attractive long-term growth.
The broker says ASOS has scope for further share price outperformance as it continues to deliver strong earnings and sales growth in the fast growing online retail industry. Goldman Sachs rates the firm as a "conviction buy".
"ASOS will provide a 1H2011 (April-September) trading update on October 14. We expect continued healthy growth from the UK and international markets, and we also expect to obtain an update on the launch of country-specific sites," Goldman analysts write in a note.

You can see the way the sp will go.
Its volatile because people are buying and selling
Some people bought at 12 and they probably know which way the sp is going.
US website now open.
IMHO it will be at 13 by the year end.
There is always the chance of a takeover.

:)) agree , and i would love to see mitzy's right, all in all there is a chance , just 6 trading days to interim.now the last update gave me awesome number 48% up revenue and that the number was accelerating, now this gives some thinking.scarrry :)) by good means.now if interim brings me more than 48% and asos is before christmas witch is the biggest profit time in a whole year, i'll say sp is undervalued and will go up more than 13 easy.now easy because market thinks that asos will make average estimate 30% up earnings , and imho that's why sp hit spot on 12 and no more.12 for me is nailed 30%.
cynic you've been naughty so no tips

certainly a good performance following a broker downgrade ...... how do you feel ASC will be affected by the increase in VAT and other squeeze factors over the coming months? ...... i'm not brave enough to short - like WOS, i always call this one wrong! - but i cannot see any retail stock being immune

im not so sure asc meaning business or sp , cynic , but i feel positive about business and about sp in coming years so months will follow all in all.there will be profit takings for sure but nothing more than 15% and here would be dream to trade it , but mainly going up.things like vat , cotton , freight , doubble-dip recession, youth unemployment ,no bother me.i've got huge moat here.
in america 17.5% vat is mine because below $200 there is no duty paid, other things will take a bit from upside part of huge growth wich honestly no one apart from robertson really knows will going to be in coming years.imho whatever is going to be , it's going to be far far more than any other fashion and any analysts estimate.i feel in coming 5 years 30% a year average.and i feel also that may be more than that..
or not if iran or norh korea drop the bomb somewhere..
