Chiva: very funny! Lol!- for some; GAR (groans all round) from others.
Poverty: can't deny Tiger is exciting to watch but I'm always keen to see him beaten particularly by an Englishman, or even an Irishman, Scotsman or, since Dil might be listening a Welshman: mind, I don't think they still play golf now that Ian Woosnam has retired to manage the Ryder Cup team. This golf challenge initiated by pth is a great idea.
Andysmith. Good to see you in your normal good form. Pisces, too: given that the downward correction was typically 5% and sometimes 10%, the performance of SEO today is equivalent to a rise to somewhere in the 21 - 22p range. Well done all those who were lucky enough to have free cash to buy today at bargain proces - envy! envy!

Looking at the chart it is interesting to note that the sloping resistance level looks as though it has now become a support level. I expect there is a name for it. Interesting to see if it works out.

Just read a theory that over the last five years the DOW and S&P have each fallen in the week ending about the 15th April only to rise the following week - the 15th is the day Americans have to pay their taxes and need to liquidate capital to meet the bill!
There is also talk of the extreme bearish sentiment from the American Association of Individual Investors in US which reports 188% bears to bulls. This is a strong bottom signal. Given lack of support on the DOW on Friday, likely there will be a 2-5% further drop this week to put a bottom on the DOW. If so a major buy signal, before the next leg upwards, typically 27.5% on average, and as high as 40%, in the 52 weeks to follow.
Theory, superstition or bearsh*t - we'll know later on this year.

Perhaps you've gone colour blind, bos! Quite useful on bad days. Better get out and practise that golf swing - pull a few birdies!

morning eric, no, no, my eyesight is fine. i was thinking of digging out my clubs (if i can get to them at the back of the shed). as for pulling birdies..... those days are long gone! going to be up in geordieland over the may bank holiday weekend . somewhere in northumberland, i think , for a wedding. thinking of wearing my man u top if we go into newcastle for a visit.....:) (to be honest , i didn't think newcastle had a hope with the amount of players injured or suspended. may have been a different story if they had had a full strength team though).

I would disagree there - a steady day with an RSI above 60 - no news - no orders - pending loss at interim and prelim - and a technology still not ok with Asda (pending those further trials) - a realistic share price as we stand today of around 4p - and a present price over 20p - that does not bode well for the coming months.

Hi all,
II has now started another thread on fillyaboots. Really irritating!
It's probably because he has been filtered everywhere else.
Sad, isn't it?

Agree that there are signs of a shorting exercise with an identifiable pattern of about 2 million sales. Not initiated by Evil although he is bearish on the market as a whole. No doubt Insideoutside is a part of it. Why else continue with his ridiculous assertions re the ASDA RNS quote. His arguments have been thoroughly refuted but he just keeps repeating his assertions. If you are wondering whether there is any substance in his position just return to the RNS of 24th March. Let me repeat the quote by ASDA:
"This is a first to market for ASDA - real innovation. This could well turn out to be the biggest thing in packaging for years. The benefits for both the environment, our coustomers and suppliers from this technology are far reaching. The potential for Stanelco's technology grows every time we look at it. Every visit to both stores and suppliers identifies new areas and ways in which the technology can be used. We are looking forward to working with Stanelco."
One advantage of a shorting operation: it gives a buying opportunity.
