The Board of Lloyds Banking Group announces that following medical advice Antio Horta-Osio is taking a temporary leave of absence from his duties as Group Chief Executive of the bank due to illness. Antio is expected to return to his position before the end of the year.

It seams that he was the man to turn things around for the company and so with him leaving this is bad news and that's why the share price has dropped.

I'm not sure for LLOY - but if he has had some sort of breakdown - I doubt he will be back and certainly not by the end of the year.
