MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

23 million sales in six months and 21 million of debtors ...... errrr this looks very iffy.

What's your explanation tabby ?

tabasco - 30 Sep 2008 16:47 - 3088 of 8631

My view is there is no immediate cash issuesCurrent price is pricing in a profit warning that did not arrive.23 million turnover 2.8 million profit and getting betterthe uncertainty has disappearedthe results speak for themselves having showed they are on track their credibility will be now be excepted..and I would say to all you crowd keep buying your Banks and leave us alone!

Dil - 30 Sep 2008 16:49 - 3089 of 8631

And an explanation for the dodgy debtor figure tabby ?????

ptholden - 30 Sep 2008 16:50 - 3090 of 8631

1.65M profit, but let's not split hairs :)

Treblewide - 30 Sep 2008 16:53 - 3091 of 8631

how much did they end up down? nincompoop?

Dil - 30 Sep 2008 16:55 - 3092 of 8631

Leave him alone as he's still trying to think of a way to avoid my question.

Come on tabby you do all the research , how come they sell 23 million in 6 months and have debtor figures of 21 million ?

partridge - 30 Sep 2008 17:10 - 3093 of 8631

Perhaps they had a stonkingly good month in June.....mind you, there have been companies in the past who confused orders with sales.....

Dil - 30 Sep 2008 17:15 - 3094 of 8631

PTH; Bradford and Bingleys trading position was strong, they raised money and this was from their interims on 29/8/08. one month later and we know what happened !

'The Board's priority has been to ensure that we can continue to fund our business safely and we have achieved this. With a strong capital base following our rights issue, our new Chief Executive, Richard Pym, will review our plans for the business to enable us to continue to operate effectively in these economic conditions."

Key Points

Completion of 400m Rights Issue; Bradford & Bingley is one of the best capitalised banks in the UK.'

All talk of fund raising in this market where there is no cash around seems very inappropriate. If cash is raised surely it will be at massive discount so as an observer I can see pressure on the share price from 'shareholders' not just shorters.

ptholden - 30 Sep 2008 17:46 - 3096 of 8631

Blimey Bully you just can't let go off this company can you? ;-)

Interesting observation though and the point is perhaps more relevant today than it ever was.

Actually I don't think many people gave a stuff about MDX today, for some reason there were other market concerns of significantly greater importance. Without a fund raising MDX are stuffed and as you rightly say Mike it's gonna cost a fookin' bomb, an arm and the odd leg!!

Bullshare - 30 Sep 2008 17:51 - 3097 of 8631

PTH; Dil, TinyAL and Hilary asked me to post it for them as they were busy doing their homework and their Mum booted them off the computer till after tea :-)

No tea for me tonight. I needed to take Tabasco's comments on board and just step back and reflect about my gold short.
