.

Nar1 - 02 Nov 2011 12:14 - 3106 of 5370

What you think Harrycat?

HARRYCAT - 02 Nov 2011 12:19 - 3107 of 5370

Goin' down! New guy is not popular and doesn't have confidence of the market. I think they will have to look for someone more competent as Osorio is out for at least 6 months. Trading opportunities, but not really a hold at present, imo.

skinny - 02 Nov 2011 12:28 - 3108 of 5370

Interims next Tuesday could be quite pivotal.

ahoj - 02 Nov 2011 13:01 - 3109 of 5370

I think the next person cannot do worst, can he.
If the market doesn't like him, he should be doing something good for the company rather than short term players.

HARRYCAT - 02 Nov 2011 13:10 - 3110 of 5370

Tim Tookey the CFO (who is supposed to be leaving) is going to be asked to stay on to manage LLOY until AHO gets back. So the guy who was already leaving is now running the show. The point I was making - For whatever reason TT is unsuitable and was moving on hasn't changed. Is he therefore the best person to run LLOY?

ahoj - 02 Nov 2011 13:15 - 3111 of 5370

We all know the best does not exist in the world. Risky person is good for he time taking risk is good. Conservative for conservative times. So he might be good for specific time and bad for another time.

He is certainly the best person in terms of being familiar with the system, so there is positive side (one best for him).

Lloyds will do better given the crises in the EU. It will rapidly gain market share out of other players in France and Germany.

Nar1 - 02 Nov 2011 13:17 - 3112 of 5370

Dont think you can go much wrong buying at this price

HARRYCAT - 02 Nov 2011 13:25 - 3113 of 5370

Nar1 - 02 Nov 2011 13:36 - 3114 of 5370

Hahaha - well that what I ve said to myself lets see what happens

gibby - 02 Nov 2011 13:45 - 3115 of 5370

lol

ahoj - 02 Nov 2011 13:48 - 3116 of 5370

I think he was ill for a couple of days. Who did he discuss with before informing the market of his decision?

gibby - 02 Nov 2011 13:49 - 3117 of 5370

cmon lloy - its only 1 person ill!!!! both rbs & barc blue!! have a funny feeling here!! should rebound at some point soon!!

HARRYCAT - 02 Nov 2011 13:52 - 3118 of 5370

His Harley Street specialist, his wife, the Landlord down his local pub and his golf instructor.

gibby, I think you underestimate the influence of the person at the top.
