I've heard,as we all have about the report commissioned by TFc, to the detriment of ITH, but the one shares mag recons that if the report is unfounded that TFc will "be swept aside" as itis will be able to provide information across the whole country, not just the 'A' roads and Motorways... i invite your comments

More good news:
ITIS Holdings has agreed a new traffic data contract with personal navigation devices company TomTom, replacing a previous 18-month agreement.
The company said the new contract includes supply of traffic information to support RDS-TMC standard real-time traffic data which TomTom is launching soon.
Under the earlier contract, ITIS said its traffic data was offered to TomTom customers via a third party integrator.

Excellent results from ITH!
ITIS Holdings reported a near-300% jump in its first half pretax profit as sales and margins improved.
The road traffic information and data firm said current expectations for full year profits are now slightly ahead of those it had anticipated in September.
Pretax profit for the six months to end September totaled 1.8m, compared with 0.45m the year before.
Sales of 8.9m were 41% higher than the same period last year, as the UK business continued to trade ahead of expectations.
'The UK market continues to experience strong growth and the board believes that the potential exists to add to this growth outside the UK,' said CEO, Stuart Marks.
Earnings per share were 1.8p, up 350% year-on-year.
The group's cash balances rose to 7.2m from 5.7m last year while R&D spend went up to 0.46m from 0.41m last year.

Here's the trading statement....and the reason for the SP upswing today:
ITIS Holdings is pleased to announce a pre-close trading statement for the year ended 31st March 2007. The Company has demonstrated substantial growth in this last year and expects to report results ahead of current market expectations.
All areas of the UK business contributed to this strong performance whilst our international activities are now developing successfully through a combination of confirmed new projects and demand for the services we offer. We completed the disposal of NavTrak Limited, our stolen vehicle tracking business at the end of March and are now focussed entirely on traffic data collection, aggregation and distribution.
Through the combination of market leadership in the UK and considerable scope for international growth, the Board is confident of reporting continued progress in the future.
The Company expects to announce its Preliminary Results for the year ended 31st
March 2007 in June 2007.

An excellent year and dividends to boot! A reward for those who have been in ITH for a long part of their journey:
Road traffic information and data firm ITIS Holdings reported a 361% leap in FY pretax profits to 9.45m. Numbers were boosted by the successful disposal of its NavTrak vehicle tracking business.
Adjusted FY pretax profit increased 140% to 3.9m on turnover that was 30.3% ahead at 18.79m, the company reported.
The company has proposed a maiden dividend of 1.5p a share.
CEO, Stuart Marks, said he was now targeting international growth. 'Whilst last year's revenues were almost entirely UK based, we are now expanding our business internationally and believe that we will start to see new revenue from these international activities to complement steady growth in the UK,' he said.
The current financial year has started well and the board remains confident about the company's future prospects, he added.
