There was also an article in the Guardian this morning:
"Among the smaller companies, Tradingsports Exchange Systems , the Aim-listed betting software company, stole the limelight. Its shares jumped 4p to 19.5p, prompting the cash-strapped company to reveal that it had received offers of funding from several parties, which are reckoned to include a number of cash shell specialists."
I bought in at 22p! Yay!

Its ok Kiv, yes I am a legend, so many are called but so few are chosen plus my birthday has come a day early!!
I think there is a long way to go from here, I am certainly in it for the long term, even if there is a bit of profit taking over the next couple of days.
I still think mms are short and there is a genuinely good story here that needs to be taken advantage of. I didn't buy any when they were 15p unfortunately, I bought mine a long time ago at 22p, 25p and 27.5p. It is good that they are at least in profit. I aren't even tempted to sell.
I spoke to someone earlier that phoned C S in London and someone there said it would get to 70p by the end of the day. I hope so!!!

Kivver, sorry not to answer your question earlier. I took the view of 5 times because I looked for similar companies to compare TES with and I came across a company called Gaming Bourse which was floating (when TES was in the 20's) at 10 times what TES was and the company was 3 years younger than TES.
This gave me the indication that either Gaming Bourse was 10 times overvalued or TES was 10 times undervalued or somewhere in the middle i.e. 5.
As I keep saying about Ranson, I really think this guy is the key in all of this... he realises that the company is undervalued by his placement of 1m shares at 21.5p and then quotes it is significantly undervalued. It wouldn't surprise me to see the share at a pound at some stage, thats how clever I think he is but obviously you have to leave a bit in it for the market don't you!!

Great call legend, I know how hard it is when you are looking for the share price floor! I have dipped my toe in the water. All a bit late, but hoping for a follow through tomorrow. These tiddlers move fast when they do. Always a chance of profit taking tomorrow, but if you don't buy a ticket for the lottery.......

The Patience Wheatcroft Column in the Times:
*Directors' director...... 36-million profit.
*Speculation that Terry Ramsden is planning to inject cash into Trading
Sports Exchange and take a seat on the board.

Look guys, I am going to be honest with you, I predicted it to go up over the next 6 months or so to something like 70p, but what has happened over the past few days has been unbelievable, something I don't think I will ever see in a stock again.
I think there is an awesome story to be unveiled about this company and already people are speculating what it could be. I think with a cash rich business shell, there is absolutely no doubt it could go to the moon, but I truly think this price rise has been driven purely by massive shortage of stock (as I predicted) and speculation. I usually like to buy companies that have plenty of cash and I can work out fundamentally that they are undervalued.
With this company as we have seen, you never know what is round the next corner and with the erratic market making, it scares the crap out of me to be honest.
Don't be surprised to see it drop off 10 or 20p, I estimate that the mm is now long on stock now after the sells today.
Are you still in wraz?

AFX
TradingSports Exchange Systems shares extended their recent strong run,
adding another 9 pence to 49 amid speculation that former City dealer and
betting entrepreneur Terry Ramsden is to participate in the firm's planned
re-capitalisation.
TradingSports shares have leapt from a closing level of 15.5 pence on
Monday after group confirmed on Tuesday that it is currently reviewing
funding options.
The firm said then it has received offers of funding with a view to
re-capitalising the company to 'take it on to its next stages of growth'.
TradingSports said the offers received for funding are at a price of not
more than 15 pence per share, but rumours of Terry Ramsden's involvement
have sent the stock spiralling higher.
Ramsden has recently been involved in re-financing moves for two other
small cap firms, Leisureplay and Hansard Group, with shares in both having
spiked higher on the news.
