Fireone a "mini NLR" floated today on AIM looks interesting with plenty of growth possibility..

First day of dealings on the AIM Market

FireOne, the provider of payment processing services for the online gaming
industry, announces that its entire issued ordinary share capital has today been
admitted to trading on the AIM market of London Stock Exchange plc
('Admission'), under the ticker symbol 'FPA'.

As part of the flotation, Numis Securities Limited placed 10,000,000 ordinary
shares at 241 pence per share (the 'Placing'), raising 24.1 million (before
expenses) in cash for Optimal Group Inc., the parent company, as a selling
shareholder. As at Admission, there are a total of 50,000,000 ordinary shares in
issue with a market capitalisation (at the 241 pence per ordinary share placing
price) of 120.5 million.

cost-effective system to collect, deposit and withdraw funds.

As at 31 March 2005, the business was providing its services to over 300
online gaming operators, representing approximately 1,500 websites.

For the 12 months ended 31 December 2004, the business delivered profit
before tax of US$14.8 million on turnover of US$43.0 million. Unaudited results
for the three months ended 31 March 2005, show profit before tax of US$6.0
million and turnover of US$14.9 million.

Since the mid-1990s, revenues in the online gaming industry have grown
at approximately 35 per cent. per year to exceed US $7 billion in 2004. This
figure represents only 3 per cent. of the total worldwide land-based and
internet gaming market and these revenues are expected to show significant
growth in the next few years.

The Placing shares represent 20 per cent. of the issued share capital of
the Company, with the balance being retained by Optimal Group Inc. ('OGI') and
one of its subsidiaries. OGI is a leading payments and services company, based
in Montreal, Canada; its shares are quoted on NASDAQ (OPMR:NAS). Prior to the
Placing, FireOne was a wholly owned subsidiary of OGI. The Company has not
raised any new funds as the Directors believe that the FireOne is able to
finance its operations from its existing cashflow.

The Directors believe that the Placing and Admission will give FireOne
focus and increased autonomy from OGI; greater profile and status; and greater
prominence in Europe for future growth.

I'm still holding jimmy--looks as though we're on our own! When people wake up to this I think it will perform like NLR and that one is rocketing up at the moment and I haven't found our why. I wonder if GF has checked these out?

This one looks better value than NLR at the moment. Bought some yesterday at 379p and topped up today at 387p. Trading announcement is scheduled for 9 August. The parent company (Nasdaq listed OPMR) announces results after market closing on 8 August. It has not attracted the same attention as Neteller (which is now worth almost 1 billion and hence has got the big boys interested) but there seems to be no reason why it should not just as well.

Yes i'm still in from the day of float, sold some when they had made big gains and kept the rest,,wish i had kept them all now. Surprised that more people on here didn't get in to these after the success with NLR..

400p about to be breached.
It's looking good for next week and up to the trading announcement on the 9th August.

Sold out afew weeks back to take profits--now back in today as a TS is due on Aug 9th and it looks as if it will be good!! still plenty of buying.

thanks for the tip on this one. I feel I may have missed the boat with today's vertical take off into highly overbought territory.

Although there is no saying it won't go a lot higher before a substantial retracement (a la NML). Do you reckon it's still worth a punt on Monday?

From what I can see from my charts everything is in place for the run to continue, but with such a rise there are bound to be profit takers appearing on Monday morning it depends on the volume of the profit takers, just after open yesterday there were quite a few sells all bunched together but it only knocked a few pence(6-8p) from the price when it was up 12p so it remained in positive territory. The RSI is well overbought but the 5:35:5 MACD is well above the signal line as is the stoch and the MA's are right but I wish I had a crystal ball !!!! I'm afraid its up to you .. SD

I agree, I don't like buying a share that's just shop up a cliff either, sometimes the descent is just as rapid!

This does look like a decent stock, and for those that already hold it must be a hold, or even a buy if you have a substantial profit already as you can average up.

if you check the NLR chart it has performed in the same way--I took NLR profits and missed the last steep climb so now I'm back in this one I'm holding tight!!

Price seems to be acting similar to last Friday, only today just in negative territory.

I've topped up some more this morning at 434.5p
FPA now constitutes 35% of my portfolio (with NLR weighing in at 15% too).

I think I need to lie down for a bit !!!
