Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Photo,

THis may well of been a cached page from the site downtime we had yesterday - may be worthwhile clearing out your temp internet files,

Ian

Photomad,

I've just updated our 'down-site' page so that it should never be cached again, this should stop it from happening in the future.

I've been unable to get in this afternoon and early evening using www.moneyam.com/action/user/login, but could do so via www.moneyam.com. Now the former url is also working.

It's either exceptionally quiet or the Indices and Sector values are not updating.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 18 Apr 2005 12:40 - 3122 of 7315

There's a problem with the LSE, they are not sending anyone index prices at the moment.

I'm pretty sure that I saw this issue mentioned quite some time ago, but I note that the Stockwatch screen is lagging behind in flagging RNS releases. For instance Vividas Group (VDS) released a RNS at 11.15am, and there is still no newsflag on Stockwatch.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 18 Apr 2005 13:16 - 3124 of 7315

covenant - I will speak to our tech guys as this should not be the case,

Ian

Thanks Ian.

TullettJ (MoneyAM) - 18 Apr 2005 15:27 - 3126 of 7315

covenant,

Our RNS provider has been informed that they are flagging up news articles incorrectly.

They're going to look into it and try and fix the problem at source.

I am able to post under this username and have seen this gentleman's personal details.
What happened was after leaving my pc and coming back to it a while later i went into this site as i usually do and was automatically logged in under this user,i looked further into it and to my amazement was able to access the personal details of this user's account, this is DISGRACEFUL.
I(current user) for one hope(and i imagine the user "leeds lad") that my personal details are not out in the open and expect to be contacted by someone from the Moneyam site with a full apology.

leedslad - 18 Apr 2005 22:49 - 3131 of 7315
