Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Hays your post above 31331........
I agree with this bit..........
Michelle Dewberry, the Hull-born winner of BBC's The Apprentice in 2006, told the Daily Telegraph the article was an "insult".
She said: "For people to give up on an entire city, it's insulting to the people. We have the BBC there, Siemens, there's lots more investment.
"The people shouldn't be told to get out but they should be helped, the entrepreneurial spirit should come from within. The city deserves a say when the ambition for it dies."
A spokesman for Hartlepool County Council added: "We know unemployment is high but there are tremendous amount of positives. We know what the problems are."
You wont get working class people leaving their roots. The jobs have to be brought to them and not the other way around. Its in their culture the way people are brought up.
I went to Uni in both Liverpool and Manchester and have worked outside my home town/village of Holmfirth but I always wanted to return at the nearest opportunity.
I believe, well in fact know most others are the same so any attempt to introduce this new policy im sure would fail, all imo.

To be honest you could always get the IP address of a poster with a court order. ADVCN have had to cough up the details in response to court orders for years (at least 7 years ago). I would think that you have no chance of suing anyone who implies that you have aliases as the implication is not necessarily derogative. But as I said, the poster may be completely anonymous so you would get nothing from your court order.

Pointless in other words, cheers Hays appreciated.
Perhaphs management here should be tightening up. Ive noticed they dont police this board as hands on as they used to, and alot more are joining.
Too many newbies coming in and acting without manners.

I think that, by and large, people on here are very well behaved. I think you will find it is as well monitored as it always has been. If there was any extreme behaviour it would be stamped on pretty fast.

Do not like the squelch idea though. Why should it be left to the poster who is being abused to have to squelch and then be taken the ---- out of. That's where moneyam could do more. The abuser in many cases is not being dealt with. Something that you see time and time again which could quite easily be nipped in the bud by moneyam.

So do you think you have any manners goldfinger? You posted on a thread yesterday in an effort to trash it with a stupid twitter comment. You are the last person on this bulletin board who should be sitting in judgement about "manners" since you quite obviously don't have a clue what the word means.

DC yes youve hit the nail on the head.
Hays and then this is an example of what I have come up against when I made a query to a fellow board member whose judgement and integrity I trust........

You and blackdown seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet and on the same threads - what a coincidence

Now dont get me wrong Hays you can call me all the names in the world and insult me until the cows come home Im thick skinned I can take it, but Im certainly not going to be infered as a ramper or deramper as that is a crimminal offence, and I havent committed a crime in my life.

Easy get out sadly the squelch button on moneyam's part. I will not use it. I'm not far off reporting someone myself. I will go straight into moneyam and they can make their choices. In blunt terms I go or they do, if I get much more. The squelch button is as I have said rather childish and is not addressing the abuser.
