How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Bingo!
Thanks TPO. Checked the DPI setting and it was at 120. Changed it to 96 and everything OK. All systems go again!
Thanks again.

It's men's semis at the French Open with the much anticipated big 2 clash of Fed v Nadal stealing the show. Both have been in scintillating form this year with a total harvest of 11 title wins between them (Fed's 6 to Nadal's 5).
Their head to head record stands at 1-1. Fed winning the last encounter over 5 sets having been 2-0 down.
Fed hasn't dropped a set during this tournament whilst Nadal has only lost 1.

I'm predicting a win for Fed but will be nipping in and out on this game as it should present excellent trading opportunities.

bak,
thanks for the analysis. Will probably join you but not sure what strategy to adopt yet. Will watch to begin with and probably look to lay when an opportunity presents itself.

Should be OK for tomorrow thanks. Will let you know in an hour or so.
I haven't got the Federer/Nadal game as an option on AB Pro. Is it just me? Can someone check please??????????????

It would appear to be only available via the main Betfair screen, not via the All Markets on the left which seems to have thrown AB Pro a problem. Not seen that before.
Makes trading it a problem.

Craig 1.63 favourite to stay in Big Brother house tonight but his odds to finish top male or win seem way out of sync if he does stay.
Pity its so illiquid.

Evening Guys,
Just got in and logged into the tennis. 2-1 to Nadal with Fed a break up in the 4th set. Looks like going the full course.
Just nicked a few ticks on Fed.

Not too sure on that bak. Unless Nadal is busting a gut and is gonna weaken, he seems to be slowly getting the upper hand.
