The rest of this week could be interesting. The DOW has closed +102 today which leaves it within an arms length of 10,000. What will happen if 10,000 is breached, selling for profits or a mad dash northwards?

Too difficult for me so I'll settle for a bucket of sherry trifle.

8 Ball - 08 Dec 2003 23:53 - 3157 of 23498

Evening.

Nice to see they let you back in the old place Golddog.
Must admit it was funny at the end.

Shame we lost a few folks on the way, Fanta, IR JS etc..
Pleased we lost that Lightning bloke though........

Socrates - 08 Dec 2003 23:59 - 3158 of 23498

8 Ball

8 Ball - 09 Dec 2003 00:04 - 3159 of 23498

zarif - 09 Dec 2003 14:11 - 3160 of 23498

stockbunny - 09 Dec 2003 16:33 - 3161 of 23498

Afternoon people - Little Willie I'm shocked, control yourself
Sir - giggle - there are more heels than stilettos - cubans,
wedges, kitten or just plain sturdy-will-walk-on-anything boot ones.
So how's things going for one and all - been busy working so
no idea yet how the markets are..off to investigate.....

Socrates - 09 Dec 2003 17:32 - 3162 of 23498

8 Ball
No you never did.

Hi all, another fine day, when are we going to get the snow. Long overdue for a white crimbles.

Golddog - 09 Dec 2003 19:24 - 3163 of 23498

poochy rolls in under the door and props himself up at the bar.

jeffmack, No indicies im afraid.

8 ball, It was strange to go back there but no longer seemed the same! I had forgotten how quick the threads go down the page. I much prefer it over here now. :-)

Bunny, May i stroke your fur?

8 Ball - 09 Dec 2003 23:12 - 3164 of 23498

The people are much nicer here.
Shame the threads don't have more content.
It is improving and given time will get better.

Will mail them to you socs.

Socrates - 09 Dec 2003 23:17 - 3165 of 23498

8 Ball
Thank you, I await your e-mail with interest.

Now I think I will prepare to climb the wooden hill to Bedfordshire. Goodnight one and all.

This_is_me - 09 Dec 2003 23:31 - 3166 of 23498

I always thought that 'forky' was more appropriate than 'old socs' for a tea room!

Socrates - 10 Dec 2003 17:40 - 3167 of 23498

TIM
I'm sure you're right, I have personal reasons for liking Forky too.

Socrates - 10 Dec 2003 17:48 - 3168 of 23498

Excuse me if I'm a bit quiet folks, I have over 200 Wiggies posts to read. Not content with that NIS has gone into suspenders today so I have 76 posts on that one to read. Mind you, most of the posts are cobblers but there are always a few gems amongst the gravel.

I'll start with a bucket of sherry trifle, I'm clearly going to need a distraction.

Socrates - 10 Dec 2003 18:49 - 3169 of 23498

8 Ball
Thanks for the e-mail. What a chuckle, did you see my profile, small world isn't it?

Golddog - 10 Dec 2003 19:26 - 3170 of 23498

Socrates, Forky, Lightning, Socks, I see Wiggy is up and running again at 4.25p and to think that's how we met! Life has been miserable ever since! :-) What ever happened to that Thomas bloke?

Socrates - 10 Dec 2003 19:42 - 3171 of 23498

GD
He got nuked and re-appeared as Whitie2. As far as I could see his brain was not improved by the change of name. There is another looney there now so there is still entertainment value to be had. Mind you, I have filtered all the numbskulls out so I can't see what they say.

Incidentally, you missed Paradisum if you know where to look.

little willie - 10 Dec 2003 21:59 - 3172 of 23498

Seems that this site is getting into a coded chat cafe rather like the other place did, all very strange?

Ah well, I'll dump myself in the corner and chew on some virtual pork scratchings.
We can't get 'em here. Oh yes, and I'll have a pint of King & Barnes Mild....

Socs..I've never missed Paradisum altho' you can't miss what you've never had,
as the actress said et al.

Socrates - 10 Dec 2003 22:04 - 3173 of 23498

lw
Coded? What is it you don't understand?

little willie - 10 Dec 2003 23:50 - 3174 of 23498

Socs...Mainly the meaning of life altho' I always look on the bright side

stockbunny - 11 Dec 2003 13:09 - 3175 of 23498

Afternoon Happy People!! - Well SMILE It's nearly Christmas!!
Little Willie - we will have to ship a whole container load of
pork scratchings over to you, never mind meat products bans, we
can put Poochy in the back to snarl and bark and they wont dare
open it to find out what's in it!

As for you Poochy - seems you are partaking of too many Bob
Martin's these days (bit too 'over conditioned') best stick
to Bods it will get you into less trouble.

Hi SOCS!!!! (((Waving))) You look nice and comfy in your corner..
OK Bottle of Cab Sauv' for the bunny and where's Vasey these days???
