Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Sadiq Khan showed himself incompetent as a speaker ,like a schoolboy trying to win an argument .Then going for the race card ,quite a vile little man.

Claret Dragon - 22 Jun 2016 08:38 - 3161 of 12628

The real battle wıll take place ıf the vote ıs to leave. No mandate those who are peddlıng dısaster to have a place ın Govt.

P 3160,

If so, you should get on well with him.

Well...here we are ....time to vote out of the EU and all the dodgy, corrupt ways that have been going on.....put a stop to illegal immigrants.....because you know that vote remain means pretty much : more of the same.....of course all those people with their noses in the trough will want you to vote for same again.....but if you can see a better future for us all in getting rid of being bossed around by Brussels corrupt and co...then vote leave !....

I don't think Remain did anywhere as near as bad last night as some of you are making out. Did think the Tory gob shite was a bit OTT and could have rubbed Labour voter's up the wrong way and that the digs the Union rep was having at the government could have rubbed Conservatives up the wrong way.

Getting fed up with all the crap now and glad it'll all be over tomorrow whoever wins.

jimmy b - 22 Jun 2016 09:04 - 3165 of 12628

Fred no need to start the insults .

VICTIM - 22 Jun 2016 09:05 - 3166 of 12628

Quite strange Freda that you continuously deride posters on here for being how can I say , uneducated dumb thick etc . Do you not think you are wasted on such and why spend so much time doing said things . Are you not confident in your ability to rise to a higher level somewhere else on a par . Assess yourself and come to terms with the fact very few here seem to follow your path . Or are you just a muddled old tw@t.

cynic - 22 Jun 2016 09:23 - 3167 of 12628

it's interesting that though the polls show the two sides too close to call, the strong betting is that "remain" will carry the day

jimmy b - 22 Jun 2016 09:26 - 3168 of 12628

Why are the bookies putting up those odds ? no one knows ,it could be a real surprise with a bigger swing than we think.

HARRYCAT - 22 Jun 2016 09:30 - 3169 of 12628

Bookies are trying to entice customers to have a punt on 'Exit' with attractive odds and trying to offset the large bets on 'IN'. The bookies are clearly confident that 'IN' will carry the day, hence the shorter odds.
3/10 - IN
3/1 - OUT

cynic - 22 Jun 2016 09:49 - 3170 of 12628

IG betting shows 77.5% backing (betting on) remain winning, though their poll analysis also agrees too close to call

iturama - 22 Jun 2016 09:53 - 3171 of 12628

Bookies work on the amount of money not the amount of people. I heared that there has been big money on a stay, while lots of small punts on a go. Just vote. Don't be disheartened, do what is right.

Fred1new - 22 Jun 2016 10:05 - 3172 of 12628

Vicky,

I didn't realise it was an insult to Sadiq Khan.

Tut, Tut.

-=-==

The market seems to think it is a foregone conclusion for remaining in the EU.
