AGM is at Jeffries Henry, Solicitors, Finsgate, 5-7 Cranwood, St by City Road near Old St tube, for those interested. It should be worth it.

bosley - 20 Apr 2005 12:18 - 3160 of 27111

is anybody going ?

bhunt1910 - 20 Apr 2005 12:19 - 3161 of 27111

How does one get an invite ??

Sharesure - 20 Apr 2005 12:28 - 3162 of 27111

If you own the shares via a nominee account it makes no difference to your entitlement to go to the AGM. ie you do not need an invitation.

bhunt1910 - 20 Apr 2005 12:29 - 3163 of 27111

So - just turn up? - will I need proof of ownership?

Sharesure - 20 Apr 2005 12:39 - 3164 of 27111

No, you're be asked to sign an attendance sheet either as a shareholder or visitor.
The best part of AGM's, apart from being able to really quiz the Board and seeing the 'whites of the eyes'of the directors (perhaps not this time as we've nothing to be shirty about!),is what information you pick up before or afterwards over the drinks. If anyone else is going how about a drink afterwards to either celebrate more progress and/or swap other stock ideas?

bosley - 20 Apr 2005 12:43 - 3165 of 27111

i would love to go but london(?) is too far for me. someone should go , tell us what went on. maybe the tit should go and put his questions to the board!!!! sharesure, we are meeting for a drink if we ever get to 50p!!

partridge - 20 Apr 2005 12:50 - 3166 of 27111

Sharesure - most of my stocks in nominee names and I always get a letter of ownership from them (Barclays) to show at the door when I go to AGMs. It is provided free of charge. Regrettably not a holder of SEO!

EWRobson - 20 Apr 2005 12:59 - 3167 of 27111

Hopefully any who are golfers (which means, know the rules and can hit the ball more often than not!) will meet at Peter Holden's golf challenge - prizes from MoneyAM. In Leicestershire which is about as central as you can get (i.e. in England!). If you are going, sharesure, please post any juicy morsels. The problem with nogginnog is that he does his research with blinkers on; the Evolution research is factual and sound and represents the market view. nn is so far off station there is no ground for responding to his posts, even though MM (magnanimous me) would like to do so.

I shall be going and will put anything new on here afterwards, although suspect the AGM may coincide with a press statement anyway if there is something to report on Walmart. I reckon Friday may be just that bit too soon.
The company were at an international packaging exhibition last week hoping to make some headway with Frogpack. That has fantastic potential if it catches on.

bosley - 20 Apr 2005 13:22 - 3169 of 27111

sharesure, you must be new to moneyam as i haven't seen your name before, but you seem extremely well informed. how long have you been a holder of seo?

Biscuit - 20 Apr 2005 13:22 - 3170 of 27111

Was it you chaps who were asking if anyone does spreadbetting on SEO the other day?

overgrowth - 20 Apr 2005 13:30 - 3171 of 27111

Biscuit, Not me but I'd be interested to know which companies handle bets on small caps. I'm with Capitalspreads and SEO doesn't appear in the list.

016622 - 20 Apr 2005 13:34 - 3172 of 27111

ig index

bosley - 20 Apr 2005 13:55 - 3173 of 27111

cfds, biscuit.

overgrowth - 20 Apr 2005 13:58 - 3174 of 27111

Cheers 016622.

Bos - CFD's are handy for day trading because the spreads are closer, however longer term aren't you better off with spread betting to avoid having to pay any CGT ?

Biscuit - 20 Apr 2005 14:06 - 3175 of 27111

ah ok, well if anyone was interested, Finspreads now has Stanelco on for Spreadbetting.

EWRobson - 20 Apr 2005 14:06 - 3176 of 27111

Difficult to say whether those two 500K transactions shown as sells might not be buys. Presumably the same person, so the fact that the second sp is higher than the first suggests they might be buys. Testing the resistance level without a surge of selling. Interessant, as our friend TFC would say.

Eric

bhunt1910 - 20 Apr 2005 14:10 - 3177 of 27111

If they were buys - is it a fair assumption that the MM's must be starting to get short of stock?

Baza

overgrowth - 20 Apr 2005 14:33 - 3178 of 27111

Eric - it looks like a T+ rollover to me (sell then buy back).
