THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Stan - 22 Oct 2013 22:18 - 31639 of 81564

I really do like the way these German teams play from what I've seen lately.

What are you boys trying to cook up?

I can send you a recipe book.

But that cooking sherry can be too strong for some.

My son is on his way back from the match. It has been torrential rain over the last hour. I am a Spurs fan and my wife and two boys are Arsenal fans. Good result for me at least.

edit
He just got back VERY wet.

Stan - 22 Oct 2013 23:15 - 31644 of 81564

Arsenal and Spurs fans in the same family... Good grief -):

Hays a Spurs fan, point noted down.
The great Man UTD will arise dont you worry.

I see when the gunners come up against a good team the defence creaks. Their weak point to my mind.

Dil - 23 Oct 2013 02:13 - 31647 of 81564

Oi Stan ... I really don't think Dil will agree about that chump in claret :-)

Stan - 23 Oct 2013 07:55 - 31648 of 81564

Saturated fat heart disease 'myth'
The risk from saturated fat in foods such as butter, cakes and biscuits is being overstated and demonised, according to a cardiologist.

at last a bit of good news
