Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

personally, i totally disagree with most of the sentiments and postings on this thread (they are rants from the loonies), but it is potentially interesting whether or not it has anything whatsoever to do with shares or finance.

hijab is a thorny dilemma ..... as far as i understand it, there is nothing whatsoever in the koran that forbids women from showing their faces .... thus, it is personal choice or, very often, at the command of the husband - ah, now there's an interesting discussion point in itself.

i find it more than difficult to approve the banning of the hijab, as by and large it should be the woman's choice, just as is the wearing of a crucifix or a mogain dovid .... however, there are circumstances where it is important to be able to see a person's face and eyes - e.g. in i/d proof or in a court of law where much can be determined from facial expression and reaction

This thread should be suspended at once, it has nothing to do with what Shares Magazine or Money Am represent, this is the United Kingdom or have the posters on here forgotten this, there is enough trouble in this country without this extra irritation......it seems there are arab activists that are stirring up trouble here, god knows there are enough of these people in this country without having to put up with this political nonsense on our favourite website.

cynic - 19 Jul 2010 21:01 - 3179 of 6906

that is no reason to ban it, irritating and partisan as it clearly is ... this is one of the "penalties" of living in a society where one may freely express views, within the well-known boundaries that that imposes .... you have no need to check into this thread if it upsets you that much, any more than i do

LOL
What have a number of threads got to do with what you imagine Shares Mag or MoneyAm represent. There are several threads of a frivolous nature and I could name them, but I am ure you can find them yourself.

The ultimate answer is don't read the thread. Look upon it as a room with a closed, but not locked, door.

Just don't open the door!

If we let these people dominate us : it is only a matter of time before they muck up this country just like their own and they will, step by step they force themselves into the British way of life and start taking over, there comes a time when you just have to take a stand and say no.

Spot on.
It is the ravings of haymaker and his obsessive, hate filled mates who have the objectivity, life experience, intelligence and judgment of blind, lobotomised goldfish.

This site is becoming the "favourite" website of fewer and fewer people as a result.
You have a look at trade2win.com and even the political threads are good natured and sensible and usually funny. And it's 99% about trading.

cynic - 19 Jul 2010 21:06 - 3183 of 6906

that is preposterous and utter bunkum - the wine speaks i fear ..... who is dominating what?

i almost never agree with hayseed and the postings of the other pro-hamas loonies, but they very much have a right of expression as do you or i, just so long as the boundaries of decency, promoting racial hatred and similar are not over-stepped

Haystack, go somewhere else where your political rants will impress....like the bottom of the med.

LOL
This thread is not for political purposes. It is a discussion thread about the conflict in Gaza. All views are welcome, even your slightly illogical one. You will find a pretty low level of abuse and far lower than in many of the stock threads.

There have been numerous threads of a serious nature on this BB and some of them have become quite heated at times. BBs are a community and your views on the validity of this thread are most welcome.

Again, spot on.
The UK has accepted immigrants from all over the world for many centuries and they have all adapted and enriched our society.......until now. Many Muslims from Pakistan just want to live here in peace with everyone else, but that substantial hard core is destroying us from within. To read of Muslim bus drivers, cabbies refusing to allow blind people on board and actually throwing them off buses when Muslim passengers object to guide dogs.........this is disgusting. And before you ignoramuses start saying it's not true, google the problem and see waht Guide Dogs for the Blind Assoc and the National Federation of the Blind have to say.
Again it's not the majority of law abiding Muslims who are the problem, it's a substantial minority.

The bottom of the Med is too good for him and his hate filled kind, not enough sewage for him to feel at home. They think tolerance, understanding and objectivity are an Israeli plot.

Huh? That says it all about haymaker's level of ........ well anything really.
You could get more sense out of that goldfish.

L of B
I am not a supporter of muslims. I am anti-Israel. I find Islam has nothing really to do with the Gaza problem.

I do agree that many muslims cause problems here. A large part of the problem is down to left wing councils who allow Islamic and Hindi customs in our schools, stop kids celebrating Xmas, teaching Gujarati and Hindi. This does nothing to encourage integration.

"just so long as the boundaries of decency.............are not over-stepped "

You are a hypocrite, cynic.
You called me a "sanctimonious prick" and an "arsehole" because I objected to you saying Jews and Arabs should be given a whiff of Cyclon B - the gas the Nazis used to murder millions of men, women and children.
You are as disgusting as hyamaker and his cronies, probably even more so when you claim you have relatives murdered by the Nazis. If that is true, they would turn in their graves (except they haven't got any - they were turned into ashes) to see you write like that.
You think you are funny, do you.
Check out "shame" on dictionary.com
It's you, to use your words, who is a "sanctimonious prick" and an "arsehole".

Stop picking on Indians, with your prejudices, they have truly enriched this country.
I'd rather be the only Jew in an area of 100,000 Indian people than to be within ten miles of you.

This thread really has nothing to do with Jews at all. The problems in Gaza and the region are caused by Zionists.
