Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

TullettJ - It did eventually clear itself. The Level1 code is fairly straight forward - it reports what MoneyAM sends down the line.

In the case of DWV earlier today, both the Level1 and Level2 streams were showing the same incorrect data. Same thing has happened on AGK and GET this morning.

It just appears that the Level1 stream suffers from an increasing number of 'glitches'. From what I can gather, and it's only a guess, they are caused by rogue orders sitting in the SETS/SETSMM order book.

Bug in level 2 screen, the summary order version. When in auction and there is one market order at the top of one of the sides, the price reads MKT as it should. When instead more than one MKT order is being summarised, the price reads "999,999" if on the left or "0" if on the right. The 'all orders' version of the screen is correct in the same circumstances.

Kayak,

As auction is over for another day I will take a look into this tomorrow and also pass it onto the tech boys to take a look.

These last few days I've needed to log in twice - once on start up the instantly again if using the traders thread. I have cleared cache etc but no difference. Is it me or the site please?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 12 May 2005 07:37 - 3182 of 7315

kernow,

I will pass this onto the tech guys.

Thanks Ian - and make that three times this am.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 12 May 2005 08:14 - 3184 of 7315

kernow,

The third time was us - Jonathan did something behind the scene which would have forced you to login again. Can you also check that you have session cookies enabled? Go to tools - internet options - privacy and then advanced?

Ian

kernow - 12 May 2005 08:19 - 3185 of 7315

I,m on automatic cookie handling and hence the session cookie option is greyed out.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 12 May 2005 08:21 - 3186 of 7315

If you put a tick in the auto cookie handling this will open up the greyed out part so that you can amend it - if tehre is no tick next to allow session cookies, you will need to put one in.

Kernow,

Think our posts crossed there - please can you try what I have suggested in my previous post?

Ian

kernow - 12 May 2005 08:28 - 3189 of 7315

Once again, any chance of fixing your dyslexic feed : NSX (Fledgling Index) and not Nexus Management (NXS).

Also, it appears that new admissions/renamed stocks are still missing intraday charts - of recent note is GCAP

If JT wants a full list of stocks missing intraday charts then let me know - I can always run a test over the weekend.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 12 May 2005 10:44 - 3193 of 7315

Qwento,

I will pass this onto JT to look into.

Ian

qwento,

if you can send your list over it would be useful.

J.

qwento - 12 May 2005 11:11 - 3195 of 7315

JT - Sure, i'll run a check after hours and email the results.

Kayak - 16 May 2005 09:44 - 3196 of 7315

MM stocks are showing '0' as mid in stockwatch. Level 2 is OK.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 16 May 2005 09:48 - 3197 of 7315

Kayak,

Unfortunately, this is due to an outage our suppliers had before open. Therefore, some of the MM stocks have been affected with the zero price, which unfortunately will not change until a trade goes through on it.

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience,

Regards

Ian
