The most likely conclusion of the Privy Council papers system is that the Guardian, Independent and others will ignore it. At some stage they will be hit with a very large fine and appeal to the EU court and win. That will leave the system in ruins and show that it is pointless.

I remember the debate we had at the time.

Also, as stated 2-3 years ago money should have been put into the infrastructure and cut backs should have been as a slower and THOUGHT OUT RATE.

The recovery can be seen to have occurred in spite of the government initial POLITICAL bent policies, but over the last 12 months they have been pouring money into roads, and other infra structure projects.

Hence the slow recovery.

The only thing is I think that the initial policies were politically motivated hoping to time recovery and "good feel climate" for before the next election, but I think their timing is wrong and they have blown it and at the same time harmed the UK in general.

more relevant may be where was gdp in 2010 when brown was kicked out

that said, peeps memories are nowhere near that long and they will only remember whether or not things have started to feel better over say the last 6 months
