TMC REACHING 20 SHAREHOLDERS CELEBRATION PARTY. (TMC)

oilyrag - 06 Jun 2007 14:58

I have created this new thread so that anyone who is interested in attending a celebration lunch, day out, whatever to celebrate TMC's share price reaching 20, can register their interest and voice an opinion on what they would like to do.

When,.......Obviously timing is not yet known.

Where,......Somewhere pretty central to most posters.

Who,.........Is it just investors, or do we include other halves.

What,........Theme park, slap up lunch, piss up.

Any ideas, put them forward on this thread and we can all openly discuss options and formulate a day of celebration.

i know of that one, but am i not right in sayimng their charts are pretty small and cannot be cc'd and pasted?

i must say that i cannot disagree with the sentiment that TMC should be at least ticking upwards quite merrily, but the hard fact is that it seems thoroughly disinclined to do so

cynic - 03 Aug 2009 11:05 - 321 of 491

perhaps i'm not so dumb after all ......

Encouraged by higher prices, a few metal producers have started to reverse earlier cutbacks and project delays, prompted around mid-2008 by plunging demand.
But for metals like aluminium and nickel, where more cuts are still needed, such moves come on top of on-schedule start-ups of new operations and threaten to keep those markets in surplus for longer than most.

post 316 !! Dumb and ill informed comment even from an amateur like yourself cynic!!
I've come across some jokers young man but i'm going to enter you for the Darwen awards!!! Stick to selling cleaning cloths or whatever you claim your 'business' is, leave the shares to those more informed..

you might not like what i posted, and you can even disregard it, but i didn't make it up and i doubt that Reuters (today's report) did either ..... it also happens that our industry is very sensitive to the price of stainless steel, of which nickel makes up a remarkably high proportion of the price .... nor for that matter, did i make up the relative disinterest of the market in TMC

so a little less unwarranted abuse from you would be in order

kate bates - 03 Aug 2009 11:37 - 324 of 491

redd through this thread and you may see why i have little if any respect for your assesment of how economies work. Like i say stick to your selling of door to door cleaning cloths ;-)

cynic - 03 Aug 2009 11:41 - 325 of 491

i do not comment on how economies work, for it is clearly well beyond the capabilities of any man alive to determine what will happen next ..... however, if you can put aside for a minute your emotional imbalance perhaps brought about by PMT, you may care to note that the comments in my last post are actually irrefutable

kate bates - 03 Aug 2009 11:45 - 326 of 491

problem i have with you cynic is you continue to argue when you have been proven incorrect time and time again. Your crdibility is zilzh, zero. I'll virtually filter you as you should come with a wealth warning, goodbye.

cynic - 03 Aug 2009 11:47 - 327 of 491

should i care?
in what way is post 323 incorrect?
i would also like to say, that on many occasions i am proved correct, and if i do make a mistake, i nearly always publish as much
do you?
certainly i do not recollect ever seeing such an admission from you

kate bates - 03 Aug 2009 11:53 - 328 of 491

clueless large headed twerp!!

cynic - 03 Aug 2009 11:58 - 329 of 491

if you say so .... but rather like halifax, you fail to answer the question asked

kate bates - 03 Aug 2009 12:01 - 330 of 491

lol, think my investing prowess answers the questions asked, try reading through the thread TWERP, 350% gain upto now, I'll remind you again at 200p why you should have listened to far more knowledgable posters than yourself! goodbye.

cynic - 03 Aug 2009 12:03 - 331 of 491

you still don't answer the question, but i guess that should be no surprise

kate bates - 04 Aug 2009 08:10 - 332 of 491

what question?

Balerboy - 04 Aug 2009 09:04 - 333 of 491

mitzy - 24 Aug 2009 14:54 - 334 of 491

Forget the semantics its a riser today.

cynic - 24 Aug 2009 15:05 - 335 of 491

so is about 80% of the market!
unfortunately, TMC has bobbed up and down from this level and a bit higher for the last 6/8 weeks, but as yet has failed to break out of the fairly narrow band

mitzy - 24 Aug 2009 16:19 - 336 of 491

True its up and down from this level.

mitzy - 24 Aug 2009 16:37 - 337 of 491

Great finish at the end.
