Exactly skinny, sums up the market at mo, always wait till at least 0900 before making any trading decisions and even then it's a lottery till 1430 when our crazy cousins the yanks come on board :O)

just one of the reasons to smile - as my note above last night city was seeking impairment < 2.6B - we actually ended up with significant reduction in impairment charge to 7.378bn for the first nine months of 2011 (first nine months of 2010: 9.426bn) with improvements seen across all divisions, particularly wholesale. the third quarter impairment charge is in fact only 1.956bn and much better than expected some cuty guys were preparing for impairment 2.8B + so expect sp to act accordingly as it is - and there is more - this is being well received
