THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

So H/S your one of the very small minded mob who will only ever vote for one of the 3 Proven extremist/Useless Parties. By the way the word "silly" says nothing about a Political Party/Government in descriptive terms.

dreamcatcher - 04 Nov 2013 21:17 - 32177 of 81564

Are the others just a wasted vote ?

dreamcatcher - 04 Nov 2013 21:19 - 32178 of 81564

Have you been in the pub all day Stan. :-))

Stan - 04 Nov 2013 21:23 - 32179 of 81564

The only wasted votes DC are for the 3 Parties mentioned in the posts above, Time and time again... It's so "bone headed".

dreamcatcher - 04 Nov 2013 21:28 - 32180 of 81564

Tell me the other parties that are worthy of my vote and if they have such good policies ,why are they not up the leader board or indeed in government ?

Stan - 04 Nov 2013 21:35 - 32181 of 81564

How many more times? because people like you only vote for the 3 failed mob... Time and time again.

dreamcatcher - 04 Nov 2013 21:42 - 32182 of 81564

And the others you do not mention fail even more. :-))

dreamcatcher - 04 Nov 2013 21:45 - 32183 of 81564

Stan are you Fred's brother. As he never answers questions put to him as well. lol

cynic - 04 Nov 2013 21:46 - 32184 of 81564

psst! he hasn't been told the party line and can't answer for himself

Stan - 04 Nov 2013 21:47 - 32185 of 81564

What are you on about DC? How can people who you don't vote for and therefore don't get elected fail?

Haystack - 04 Nov 2013 21:47 - 32186 of 81564

Only the three main parties stand a chance of being elected. Well, make that only two. The main parties pretty much account for the variety of political thought that appeals to people. There are more extreme parties such as SWP, EDL, UKIP, BNP etc that stand no chance of being elected. If you include the NF and the old SDP it is funny how these unelectable parties are all known by initials. It would seem that having a set of initials that your party is known by is the kiss of death.

dreamcatcher - 04 Nov 2013 21:48 - 32187 of 81564

Lol . No doubt the non voter will have something to say soon.

Stan - 04 Nov 2013 21:50 - 32188 of 81564

You lot are just a group of brain dead political bone heads, good night.

cynic - 04 Nov 2013 21:50 - 32189 of 81564

answer the question Stan .... who are these other parties who you think are worthy of all our votes? ..... are you going to tell us for whom you cast you vote, or is that against party rules?

dreamcatcher - 04 Nov 2013 21:52 - 32190 of 81564

Stan, you still did not answer my first question, Have you been in the pub all day. lol

Thanks Haystack, how anyone with any interest for this country can vote any of those parties beats me.

Chris Carson - 04 Nov 2013 21:52 - 32191 of 81564

At least none of the above support Burnley :O) Sorry Stan couldn't resist that.

dreamcatcher - 04 Nov 2013 21:53 - 32192 of 81564

Come on Stan, you have started so you must finish. :-))

dreamcatcher - 04 Nov 2013 21:54 - 32193 of 81564

CC, lol.

dreamcatcher - 04 Nov 2013 22:01 - 32194 of 81564

What are you on about DC? How can people who you don't vote for and therefore don't get elected fail?

They fail in my eyes as not getting their policies across to the electorate so to win a majority vote. Also end up with a very low number in the count. Also some ludicrous
policies. In other words they have failed before their campaign even starts. lol

Haystack - 04 Nov 2013 22:13 - 32195 of 81564

The typical fringe party has one or two (usually one) policy that grabs the public's interest. It may be immigration, Europe, some variant of socialism. However when you look at the party carefully you find it largely populated by nutters and extremists. Their policies on general topics don't stand up to scrutiny. The people they put up for election are usual a bunch of crazies.
