Away from shanghai and beijing there is a vast untapped market for telly ad products.once the rural folk get out of the paddyfields and gather round the samsung 42 incher to watch rerurns of dynasty and dallas then tv marketing co's like pcm will be minted.christ on a bike, chairman bloody mao held this lot back for decades now they want the best the west has to offer. In five years time they will all be chopping up their beansprouts and bamboo shoots with kitchen wizard multifunction appliances all provided via pcm and even doing poptarts in george foreman grills. they will be going for long rides along the Great Wall on cheap mountain bikes, getting fab abs with the ab fab exercisers AND sporting whiter than white smiles that will be the envy of Tibet.

good post to remind everyone of the long term rewards we all hope from this share--plus it's in my ISA so tax free. The companys (NTL) UK success, based on its live bidding shows, is now set to expand into Asia, after a unique deal with Hong Kong-headquartered TV shopping specialist Pacific Media. The company is making an initial payment of 7 million to Sit-Up to copy, adapt and exploit the firms Price-Drop TV and Bid TV channels for the Asian market. Pacific will pay a further 3.5 million in royalties to Sit-Up over the two years following the first 12 months of the 20-year deal, with 2% of turnover from the localised versions of the channels heading Sit-Ups way during the remaining 17 years, from Pacifics own upcoming Sit-Up branded teleshopping services in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and the jewel in the crown: China. This lucrative deal, which offers what City types call visibility of future earnings, certainly played a part in NTLs decision to buy Telewest.

I think I'll keep adding to my holding on this one as and when !! that millionaire status is tantalising and PCM maybe the quickest way in these markets. Driver-Plus Markets--PMK is mentioned in the Mail today but I haven't seen it anyone on here who could post it please??

Punters haven't got to grips with PCM yet; just to remind them and ourselves why we invested in PCM read below.

I think we can assume that its 10 to buy, there was some three largest buys today totaling 10.25m shares.

Are you still holding these, they have dropped recently but I think we may be laughing next year after having a few RNS's about the new funding PCM are seeking or an update on the bid up TV in china, or may be PCM going into profit.

Keeping 'em in certificate form on the basis that we may make a few quid next year, and if not, the certificates are cheaper than wall paper to paper my lounge, so I'm a winner whatever happens!!!!
