The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

If we're talking MDX, I'd like to know why their entire net asset value comprises goodwill and intangibles and naff all else. And why do they appear to be amortizing their intangibles at only 1% pa? It will take 100 years to shift them. Do they really think they'll still be around in 100 years time?
Of course, if they amortized them at a more appropriate rate, they'd be loss making.
Maybe ChilliSauce can answer my question at the same time as he answers Dilbert's question as to why their debtors seem on a par with 6 month's turnover.

Don't hold your breath Hils as a turf accountant he may be but he sure aint no accountant.
Seems like a lot of shareholders do appear to have a basic understanding hence the continued drop since results.

Gold is for buying and selling, my little Jalepeno, not for falling in love with. Take a look back at my screenshots. You'll see that I'm well out of my gold short. Please try harder to keep up in future otherwise you'll get a bad name for yourself. Just like scotinvestor.
And the automated system. Thanks for the interest. I withdraw my initial deposit yesterday (I was attracted by the high interest rates some of those Iceland banks are offering just now), so it's now running "for free" so's to speak.
But all of this is mere small talk. What about all of those flakey intangibles on the MDX balance sheet?

flakey intangibles - sounds lovely; can you sprinkle them over yer muesli ?
and Gold is wasted on you bloody magpies - engineering marvel, it is; but no, it doesn't get used as a conductor or heatsink. Instead, it gets hoarded by selfish dolts who sit there mesmerised by the fact that it is shiny !

At some point, and very soon, you do realise one of the sheep at the front of the stampede will stop, and for no sane reason, run the other way - immediately followed by ALL the other sheep, scared in case the first sheep knew something they don't !

Dil/Hils
Must say that I'm no expert when it comes to fundamentals, but I'm learning. Actually MDX's accounts seems to be a good educational tool :)
A few questions I would appreciate your opinion(s)
1. Quick Ratio - A useful tool to guage company strength or not? MDX's is pretty damn low.
2. C&CE - MDX's is increasing in a negative sense - surely this isn't good? Seems to indicate cash flow difficulties?
3. Cash in Hand - 500k left and seem to be burning 500k every 2 months, can't be much left?
