Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

It is safe in the Cameroon's and the Hunt's hands.
And he thinks the public is green.

fred - a day or two ago, you commented that doctors should work harder and lonfer etc etc
just for the record, my d-in-law is a gp
her working day starts at 08:00 and runs to 18:00 for surgery - typically 30 patients in that time ...... assuming all patients have turned up on time, she'll finish at about 19:00 having spent an hour catching upon phone calls, referrals and paperwork
doesn't work hard enough?????

Then perhaps your d-in-law should a closer look of how she is working, what she is accomplishing and whether her problem resolving methods are the best approach,
Also, as the government is constantly suggestion she may be able to increase her efficiency.
Also, check her auxiliary staff and whether that can be raised to reduce her "workload" even if that reduces her profit margins.

no fred, it just shows you're shooting from the hip and don't have the remotest grasp of the facts
so when you have done some homework and perhaps worked at the coalface you'll be able to make a sensible contribution instead of just talking total and utter balderdash

Cynic,
From close observation, and evaluation of practice, I guess I know more about medical general practice and hospital practice than you will ever know. That might even go for you d-in-law as well, but not having met her I would not be that sure.

clearly you do not though I know you spout away as if you know everything about everything including how to run the economy, the NHS and government in general
in fact, you're just a soapbox ranter who should just retire like the OAP you are and play dominoes in the pub with MrT

cynic - beats me why you even bother to converse with this moron! Obvious he stands in front of the mirror in his red jim jams every night chanting "Why Am I So Great, Oh Why Am I So Great" :O)

he isn't a moron - MrT perhaps carries that crown - but he is very tiresome at (most?) times ..... I respond to only a fraction of his nonsenses, but when it comes to attacking the efficiencies of GPs when I have a firsthand source to consult, he warrants a good kicking

Cynic,
I probably know a lot more about the NHS than will ever know, but with your rate of opinion formation and distribution, you would appear to be deluded into thinking yourself as the fount of all knowledge.
Pity you haven't notice that you are wearing wet trousers.
You appear as wet and disconnected as you mate Cameron poncing around the world trying to act like a second hand Blair. You three should get on well together.

I suppose you could get a job as a "rent a mouth".

go and throw your sulks elsewhere fred ..... you're no better than a charlatan when it comes to the medical profession
your political views are your own affair, only touching on my life in the vaguest of ways ...... as you won't vote, they really don't count for anything anyway let alone carry any weight
