The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

pth,
I'm a big fan of Jim Slater's Zulu Principle. I've said this many times previously and it's a book that I re-read every now and again.
For a start it provides a very simple method of valueing companies based upon their growth prospects.
Conversely, it's easy to identify overvalued, overhyped, jam-tomorrow trash.
Can you guess which category MDX falls into?

Hils I have to agree with Scotinvestor, get back to the ironing and washing, I think you have only made 100,000 this week on your trading, you should have listened to the MDX bulls and bought shed loads of this stock, you would have been bankrupt but morally have your head held high! Bloody shorters!

Hils/Dil, thanks for the replies.
Curious isn't it? The only posters on this thread who are actually having a sensible discussion about MDX are the bears; meanwhile the bulls indulge in mindless insults, inane and belittling comments. Difficult for these particualr bulls to argue their case though, they have absolutely no idea why they 'invested' in the first place.

Hils, further to your comment re amortisation; I would hazard a guess that the majority of MDX 'intangible assets' are patents (Goodwill will account for the company good name!). If so, the absolute minimum amortisation is 5% (patents are good for 20 years). This would increase their amortisation figure to 2.2 million quid rather than the 661k booked. Hmmm, that results in a profit of 261k rather than the 1.6M claimed. Not quite a loss, but not all of the intangibles will be patents and therefore subject to the more usual figure of 10%, seems they hardly broke even then?
Happy to be corrected if I have misjudged the situation.

15p today - so we must conclude this outfit won't qualify for Gordon Brown's handout.
Grief this is bad - but it's always been an "iffy" business IMHO.
Worth a punt in better times, but now? Well, well.
(I almost distrust anything they tell me - it's that bad . . . .)
FWIW for losers like this, % rises are almost impossible to equate to normal stocks... ( like FTSE)... If it rises by 15p ( which is hardly anything compared with earlier prices) it reperesent 100% - yet thew reality is that 15p is a fear-on-fear price as many expect this to disapear . . . I just don't believe they have any technology that is useful, although they have some interesting "niche" products - but having attended some AGM's I am aware that they are speaking with forked tounges . . . .something I dislike and don't understand. -and WB says ..if you don't understand something - don't invest. Currently I hold a few (only!) from 33p, so I am a loser, just watching really.

I wondered about the sale or return caperosity too, Dilbert. There's nothing like customers having faith in your product. And that's nothing like customers having faith in your product.
